If we add it will be either Va or Va Tech and NC State

Virginia Tech and NC State are the only targets that make sense.
And no one is leaving.

I think the Big 12 would expand before it’s dissolved, I’ve seen theories of them trying to add Arizona and Arizona State, makes sense regionally
BYU or Boise would be a good add for a lot of conferences but they can’t play in the ACC or SEC bc that’s too much travel, gets expensive plus time consuming

But someone needs tk step in quick before that happens.
We have a golden opportunity to get 4 sixteen team leagues. Not saying it’s necessary. But here’s our chance.
And yea, the big 12 will add some easy-to-string-along go5 teams and they will jump at the chance to join.

What those two schools add? Utah has around 3 million people and Idaho 1.7 million. That’s like adding an Arkansas, but you have two more mouths to feed. Are those two states going to bring an additional $100 million or more to the table?

Oh, we're imagining things that will never happen. I'll play...
SEC WEST
ALABAMA
ARKANSAS
AUBURN
FLORIDA STATE
LSU
MISSISSIPPI ST
OLE MISS
VANDERBILT
SEC EAST
CLEMSON
FLORIDA
GEORGIA
GEORGIA TECH
KENTUCKY
N CAROLINA ST
S CAROLINA
TENNESSEE
That would be a fun conference, but getting four teams from the ACC would never happen. Having two rival teams apiece in MS, AL, GA, SC, TN and FL all in one conference is ideally southeastern.
What will probably happen if the SEC ever gets 16 teams is West Virginia and one of the Texas or Oklahoma Big 12 schools join.

Sure. Let’s make it even harder for non blue bloods to ever make it to Atlanta.
Why? So the athletic departments can make even more money? And continue to raise donation, seat license and ticket prices? Some of y’all act like the tv money goes directly to you.

It's common sense education shitposting.
Try it sometime.

I think Boise does better than 1 million viewers per game, they keep their small conference relevant, they were the negotiating chip when that MWC got their last TV deal, there was a lawsuit or something about a year ago or 2

I'd rather contract and ship A&M and Missouri back to the Big 12.

You can’t do Oklahoma State without Oklahoma, vice versa. I think it even may be a law.
If you get Oklahoma then Texas will tag alone too, then you can have Baylor or purple Baylor
West:
Texas
Oklahoma
Baylor or TCU
Oklahoma State
Arkansas
Missouri
Aggies cult
LSU or UK
East everyone else
They wanted
Texas Oklahoma
North Carolina Clemson

You clowns know that hell will freeze over before Alabama and Auburn are in separate divisions, so why even start that bullshite?

It's all about adding additional tv markets TCU doesn't add anything you don't already have with A&M, you are not getting anymore Dallas viewers by adding TCU
Mizzou is the STL/KC market. OU isn’t leaving OSU & UT. The focus should be more East. North Carolina or Virginia markets.

Agree NC State had some smoke shows

North Carolina with Mack Brown would be good, he has them trending into being a contender for the ACC soon

Never say never. The best two teams to target are OU (national fan footprint, Dallas market) and Kansas for its basketball footprint. Go to 4 team pod scheduling. I don’t want anything to do with UT let them go F up the PAC 12 even more.
FYI it is not a law that OSU and OU have to be in the same conference. I believe they just have to play each other yearly. We already have multiple schools in the SEC that play their state rivalry game vs another conference at the end of the year (UGA/GT, FU/FSU, SC/Clem, UK/Louisville, etc. OU/OSU would be a permanent last game of the year for them.

Mizzou's days in the SEC are numbered IMHO. Since ESPN started the ACC network, they won't allow any ACC to SEC moves.
I believe the Big 10 will grab Mizzou for the StL/KC market and then go after OU and OSU. This adds 3 schools and 3 media markets, and boxes in the SEC network footprint, and gives the Big 10 a clear path to flip Colorado.

Time and again, UTex has made it exceedingly clear they aren’t interested in a move to the SEC.
This ongoing discussion is moot—though some seem to enjoy throwing around the scenario.
