My favorite auburn game was 2001. Hurricane moved it to end of the season. Nice cool weather for that one

Hurricane or 9/11
I was there
Pretty drunk but it feels like Auburn fans were selling SEC championship game tickets outside of the stadium.

Also we should be burning down field houses

Agreed. Never wanted Texas, OU, Missouri or even aTm for that matter.
Would much rather have our traditions which are far more entertaining than this money grab bullshite.

ridiculous almost guaranteed to happen every game
To be fair, this is true every time Auburn steps onto a football field, regardless of the opponent.
It reminds me of the time the refs called Treadwell down an inch short of the goal because his ankle broke and touched the grass.

I was there. Was hard to process seeing flames higher than the concourse.

Aggies-Longhorns was meant for Thanksgiving night.
CS is a ghost town on Thanksgiving, and the Friday after isn't much better. Even in Austin, there are not many places open on Thanksgiving. If we have to play Texas that weekend, it should be on Saturday. Frankly, I'd rather play them a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, when campus would be packed with students.
You aren't going to get students to stick around for a Thanksgiving day/night game like back in the old days. Most don't have class that week and go home.

Auburn-LSU was a guaranteed good game

we should have taken OU only.
I'll go so far as to say we should have swapped Mizzou for OU. (That's not to say that Mizzou didn't do a fine job of handling business this past weekend with Kansas, though.)

I wish LSU played, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Arkansas every year.
These 4 have been our biggest rivals for the past 20 years. Alabama was more of a championship gate keeper for everyone than a rival.
Arkansas was forced on us as neither had an in conference rivalry at expansion, but there have been tremendous season altering games played between them. I miss my piggies on Thanksgiving. ATM and now Oklahoma just don’t compare.
