How about LSU, Arkansas and Mizzou join the Big 12 now? Let A&M stay since they care more about SEC pride than anyone else

Bruh, it's almost been 30 years for Arkansas and SCAR. I wouldn't really consider us new anymore.

They’d (LSU) fit well in the Big 12.

We would destroy the big 12. I’m not really in favor of it, but I wouldn’t really complain either. OU is the best the b12 has to offer, and we destroyed them like we would pretty much every year if we were in that conference.

We’d have an auto-bid every year (like Clemson and OU do currently) to the playoff, but unlike OU, we’d win it all a lot more often than they (or we) do.

Being in the Big 12 would suck. While I’d like playing Texas, Oklahoma, and West Virginia regularly, the rest of the conference is garbage teams in garbage locations. I’d much rather road trips to Athens, Knoxville, Auburn, and even Tuscaloosa over Stillwater, Aimes, Manhatten, Waco, and Lubbock.

I don’t want an easy schedule. In fact, I want LSU to play the hardest schedule possible each year for the most entertainment value. I abhor rent-a-wins and completely overmatched competition. I want LSU to be the best by beating the best, not by backing their way into the playoffs by default.

LSU doesn't have a true rival in this conference. If you're trying to imply it's Arkansas or Texas A&M, you're badly mistaken.

OK boomer is a popular phrase with all the bastards who grew up with no dad. They should blame their whore of a mother...not generic Boomers.

The fact that there are actually people that downvoted this, shows how weak our society has become.

The fact that you have sympathy for Old Mrs who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire shows how weak you are. Also they had to change: many black kids didn't want to play in front of crowds waving rebel flags and chanting "the south will rise again" for some strange reason..

Obviously you don't know your arse from a hole in the ground.
There's a lot that was taken away from that school and the state in general that had absolutely nothing to do with slavery. I know plenty life long Ol Miss fans, black and white, that are embarrassed by the complete errosion of tradition. But you just go ahead and assume shite.

Also, they didn't have to change shite. Plenty of black kids were playing sports there, right up until they decided to make the change.

The ACC would have added South Carolina.

Haaaaa.. No.

They wouldn't have asked and we wouldn't have considered it even if they had. We wouldn't have left it to begin with if the NC teams could've acted like they had a fraction of damn sense. They still don't have a fraction of sense so frick'em.

The schedules you posted are not fairly balanced if you simply look at how many "big six" opponents each team has to play each year.

LSU............ plays 2 and then 3 for a total of 5
Arkansas..... plays 3 and then 3 for a total of 6
Vanderbilt.... plays 3 and then 3 for a total of 6
Missouri...... plays 4 and then 2 for a total of 6
Kentucky..... plays 4 and then 2 for a total of 6
Florida......... plays 4 and then 3 for a total of 7
Georgia........ plays 4 and then 3 for a total of 7
Tennessee.... plays 4 and then 3 for a total of 7
Miss St........ plays 3 and then 4 for a total of 7
Tex A&M...... plays 3 and then 4 for a total of 7
Ole Miss...... plays 3 and then 4 for a total of 7
Auburn......... plays 3 and then 5 for a total of 8
Alabama ...... plays 3 and then 5 for a total of 8
S. Carolina.... plays 5 and then 3 for a total of 8

Every other year, Auburn, Alabama, and South Carolina play FIVE of the traditional big six teams putting them at a huge disadvantage for competing for a championship. LSU on the other hand is the ONLY team having to face each of the traditional big six teams once each over a two year span. This would be a huge advantage for LSU. My point is that basically, I like it. Good job!

The 12-team SEC with 2-permanent cross divisional rivals was Best SEC.

Let's just go back to 1995.

I dont mind A&M but I still think it was unnecessary to expand. A&M is a good fit. Mizzou isnt. Ark and USCe were good additions...we just need another conference game
