SEC expansion gave us Ark, SC, A&M and Missouri.

I’d prefer to go back to the old SEC where Auburn played UT, FL, GA, Bama every year. Plus add GT as non-conference.

That cool we’ll leave. Just send us out check.

Were you actually old enough to see that league and remember it?

28 damn years ago?
Ok Boomer.

I like all the others but Mizzou is worthless to me

Yes. And it was so much better in multiple ways. If we’re going to have so many new teams we need to go to a 10 game conference schedule. Then I wouldn’t mind. I respect all these schools’ traditional. Hell, I post about Steve Taneyhill at least once a week.

We know.
There are approximately 5.2 threads about this topic per day.
But it’s not happening.
Maybe in the future?

I respect that at least you were there. Usually these posts are from folks that weren’t actually around back then and don’t know an SEC without Arkansas or South Carolina. We’ll allow you to proceed with your never going to happen idea.

I like all the schools added. It’s made it more fun. I just think we need to expand to a 10 game SEC schedule. Arkansas is a fun program to follow. Matt Jones in a spread offense would have been Auburn with Cam Newton.

LSU needed a rival instead of Ole Miss which has had their entire identity stripped from them. I feel sorry for Ole Miss, one of the most interesting schools in the conference which have been reduced to nothing by political correctness.

The SEC would lose a lot of interest in the league if those 4 teams left.

I agree, nothing against those teams, but i like regional conferences better. Also shorter conference schedule would mean better OOC games.

How would we owe money if we brought the SEC Network to you

Why? That’s a lot of track and field and women’s basketball success you’d be leaving. You sure you want to take that hit?

I really like having SC, Ark, and Mizzou in the conference.

Back in those good old days, some SEC teams didn't schedule each other very often. LSU and Auburn didn't play each other between 1942 and 1969, and LSU and Georgia didn't play between 1953 and 1978. There are many more examples like that.

Lets go back to 1985, but keep PIG and SC.

LSU has always been a strange team in the SEC. New Orleans has their jersey accents and all that. Don’t get me wrong, I like LSU being in the league, but before Atlanta became what it was, you guys were a strange bird in the SEC.
