They’d (LSU) fit well in the Big 12.

Wish we would just do the Roommate Switch to fix it. Why not? The SEC has always blazed their own trail before (Conference championships, SECN, etc)

I actually wouldn't mind this format. It would be interesting.

Curious which of them have the best winning% in SEC play.

Impressive that 3/4 have been to the SEC Title game.

you suck on the field. Keep rooting for your school to make money instead if that's what makes aggy happy but whatever

Actually we don’t.
Do a little research.
We’re one of the top athletic departments in the country.

Basketball? Yes.

Why on earth aren’t we doing this? Conference play would be so much more interesting, and fair.

I’d prefer to go back to the old SEC where Auburn played UT, FL, GA, Bama every year. Plus add GT as non-conference.

Simple solution, move Auburn to the East, keep Bama as cross-division rival. Why has no one thought of this before?

SEC expansion was all about TV markets not Championship aspirations. Otherwise none of those cream puffs would be on board.

That attempted insult doesn’t bother me.
Until last season, since expansion, A&M’s and LSU’s FB records weren’t that far apart at all.

Now that y’all have an AD who’s worth a lick, you’ll learn that there are other sports as well.
Because Woodward cares.
Which is a good thing.

I have a relative who's a die-hard Cougar High fan, not many of those lol. I was hoping they would get a P5 invite, but that seems unlikely now

They’d be a fantastic fit in the B12.
I think it’ll eventually happen.

On a side note, I read that LSU was in discussions to join the SWC when it was in its infancy in the 1920s. Away games in Oklahoma would have been a bummer if those two had stayed, but think it would have been better than the SEC. We are much more interconnected with TX than GA, AL, FL, etc.
