When Texas wins the championship right before their entrance into the conference it will bring even more prominence to the SEC.

I remember a 3rd string OSU QB Cardale Jones beating Bama in a playoff game, I'm not taking anything for granted.

14 of the last 20 National Champions. Including the last 4. SEC credibility isn't on the line. If Bama doesn't win, SEC will have plenty of opportunity next year.

There's a few more teams in the SEC with multiple Championships since Texas won their last one. We already have prominence.

Bama did nothing but win a conference championship. If Georgia had won, would you be saying the same about Texas right now?

I actually think that if Georgia had won, FSU would have gotten in.

2 reasons:
1) Texas' best win would be downgraded.
2) The committee would have salivated at having 4 undefeated teams in the playoff.

JMHO.

Unfortunately for us, I think Devin and Lincoln both came to play school.

It's all just one big conspiracy.

Sad - once again the underperformers are asking Bama to carry the load.

I disagree. MICHIGAN credibility is on the line. They are a team with the 115th SOS. They played TWO teams, Ohio State and Penn State, who won more than 7 regular season games. TCU embarrassed Michigan last year in the playoff. And I hope the Michigan frauds will be exposed again this year. Georgia should be in the playoff instead of that weak sister scheduled Michigan program.

Was this supposed to be some intentionally ironic statement?

So Alabama leading in the 3rd quarter and eventually losing by 10 to Texas is bad...
But Ole Miss leading in the 3rd and eventually losing to Bama by 14 means Ole Miss should have actually won

I don't think anyone cares beyond BAMA and UGA. Well, about SEC bias anyway.

OM and Mizz are in high profile bowls but they're not teams the nation is mad about.

Tenn vs. IOWA in the Citrus isn't an NY6 Bowl but it's a top 25 matchup and you can bet that people will be all over it if we drop that game because Iowa was in the B1G championship game.

The rest of the bowls are going to matter too if we lose them but more in the sense of people saying over-rated or not.

But BAMA and UGA are the ones people will be waiting to pounce on.

We won by 14 and that includes the snap over the QBs head at your one yard line. Nobody with an ounce of objectivity can look at that game and say Ole Miss should have won.

That's true but this is a completely different scenario. That team was playing for a national title. What is this team playing for?

I swear to god, I hope LSU gets out of the SEC. I'm so tired of their belly aching.

LSU is Cry Baby U. Why are you still crying about the officiating? Bama almost always has more penalty yards against us than our opponents.
