I think it depends on how motivated GA is. It is quite the accomplishment getting a NY 6, but I am sure it is still a let down for the Georgia team.
I think if Alabama beats the hell out of Michigan, no matter what happens in the final championship game, would stop all the chatter as well.

I agree. It will depend on whether or not UGA is interested to be there at all, but I think that will only determine how bad the beat down will be. I think Georgia will dominate anyone playing their 3rd string QB.

… somehow ruled a catch, somehow no review. Bama goes on to score a key TD that helped them win the SEC Championship by 3 points over Georgia. The consequences of Bama’s win:
1. Georgia: knocked out of the CFP
2. FSU: knocked out of the CFP
3. Bama: invited to the CFP
We’ll never know what would have happened if the officials had got this one call right. The SEC doesn’t have any credibility outside of the SEC fanbase.
