The "Big Six" have dominated SEC Football since the beginning of the 1980s.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide - 13 (1981, 1989, 1992, 1999, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023)
t2. Florida Gators - 9 (1984*, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2006, 2008)
t2. Georgia Bulldogs - 9 (1980, 1981, 1982, 2002, 2005, 2017, 2022, 2024, 2025)
t4. Auburn Tigers - 7 (1983, 1987, 1988, 1989, 2004, 2010, 2013)
t4. LSU Tigers - 7 (1986, 1988, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2019)
6. Tennessee Volunteers - 5 (1985, 1989, 1990, 1997, 1998)

*The 1984 Florida Gators were forced to vacate their 1984 conference titles due to NCAA rules violations. However, it was won on the field so I count it here. Let the stone throwing begin.

People forget how dominant Florida was in the SEC with Spurrier.

Where’d you get this list? It seems like there’s something off about 1988. I can only assume it’s intentionally done. Because you clearly have no issue with other split champions.

From my brain. I can assure you LSU's exclusion was not intentional. I genuinely had forgotten that they split the title in 1988 with Auburn.

Well, I shouldn’t be so salty.

It’s been a rough few years.

No one on the Tennessee roster was alive the last time they won an SEC championship. It’s really the big 5

Tennessee could've won it 5 years ago or 50. Players dont care about that. They care about getting money and having success for the 1 or 2 years they are at a team before hitting the portal

And yet yall still don’t have a final four, Alabama is the number one overall seed in softball and Alabama baseball heads into Hoover with a better seed than Tennessee.

He was dominant but pre bcs sec wasn’t nearly as brutal. The sec west was riddled with major probations, lsu and arky were the only sec west teams that didn’t face major sanctions. Even tho they didn’t face sanctions lsu was pretty lost before saban gave them the blue print to running a program. Uga wqs dien bad until richt got them squared away. Vandy and Kentucky were historically bad. And usce was just trying to stay afloat while adjusting to life in the sec.

2019 is the last time someone other than Georgia or Alabama won the conference. Interesting.

I suppose if that's all you have to keep yourself warm, go for it.

We're aiming for CWS births.

Beating Tennessee or having a better seed in the tournament- better seed all day.

That sums it all up right there. Bama is just trying to hopefully make Omaha. Tennessee is wanting to win a natty again. Shows the difference between the programs

Yall haven't made Omaha since last century. Seeding isn't the problem. Your program is
