SEC Championship games need to be rotated among 3-4 good locations.

To automatically get homefield advantage doesn't make it fair and doesn't seem to make sense anymore. Logistically and the cost should be the same if the game is rotated to different quality venues it just boils down to locking these locations in by contract. I'm talking about all sports not just football.
Rotating between these sites will even the playing field for those games because to say it's fair (for example purposes) that it will automatically be 70/30 Georgia Bulldogs on December 3rd to LSU fans isn't really a fair and square deal for what should be a neutral opportunity.
Look I know great teams usually find a way to win and LSU in its history does well in Atlanta no matter what, but an automatic home advantage isn't necessary in today's game especially with all the other teams joining.
My initial 4 locations for(Football)
New Orleans
Dallas(Arlington)
Atlanta
Nashville(After new Titans stadium)

Has anyone from the SEC ever explained why this can't be discussed or done? Seems like an easy button

These are more fair, because there is no danger of having a Texas team in the game, at least until UT joins.

I agree, but not so much because of Athens's proximity, I just think it'd be neat for it to move around to cities like New Orleans, Nashville, Birmingham, etc.

Same number of tickets go to each school.

You asnwered your own question. These venues don't do a year by year contract. They are long term. If the SEC tells MBS they only want the SECCG every 3 or 4 years, then MBS will sign a 10 year contract with the ACC and the SECCG won't be in ATL at all.

If you think LSU will only have 30% of the fans in the building then that’s an LSU problem.

Obviously the venue is fantastic but to not utilize more fairness and rotation amongst equally as good facilities is just lazy at this point.

Is Atl really a home field advantage to Georgia? From Alabama’s experience, Georgia doesn’t do well in that stadium at least against Alabama.

LSU is 3-1 against Georgia in the SEC title game and all four games have been in Atlanta. If LSU plays well enough, it will win. If it doesn’t, it will lose. So just stop.

Kinda like the National Championship game should have never been played in shite hole New Orleans when LSU was in it twice?

New Orleans and Dallas are too close together and Dallas is too far from the rest of the conference.
