That’s not really the same thing considering we are talking about being tied to a Bowl committee and traditions w/ affiliations between certain conferences. That has more variables, sponsors and contracts and red tape so that’s a different thing.

That’s not what I asked. Is it fair?

I don’t think it’s fair either but kinda what the SEC negotiated 85 years ago and that has a lot to do with other schools tie ins.
SEC champ game is relatively new starting 30 years ago and we (the sec) can do what we want to make it more fair.
I think your suggestion that Sugar bowl proximity to LSU isn’t fair when we are there. No it’s not

To automatically get homefield advantage doesn't make it fair and doesn't seem to make sense anymore.

LSU is 5-1 against UGA in Atlanta in the SECCG. Stop crying.

This only became an issue once UGA "got good".

Funny how that shite works. Atlanta is a major airline hub, easy as frick for fans to arrive depart, tons of hotels/restaurants, and has plenty of entertainment venues for visitors to enjoy, outside of the game experience.

But, yeah, let's move this shite and let ATL call in the ACC.

So you also agree that the WLOCP should stay in Jax?

The new Nashville stadium would be a great place for the SEC Championship Game. So would Dallas. But Atlanta is still a great place to have it.

I'd be happy if it was always in Nashville. It's a nice, central location. Great city. Let Vandy enjoy home field advantage for the SECCG.

p.s. while we're at it, move the SEC offices there too. Let Vandy cheat for a while instead of Alabama

No, its not because UGA is good. It's called Evolution. Things change usually for the better over time when there are better options for everyone involved. Our footprint is changing. All sports could rotate Champ locations for each sport amongst our SEC territory of coverage.
It also Opens up the sport to more common folks/fans of whatever the particular sport being played. Not everyone has money to travel for a random game. Helps interest in the sport among them and their kids too. Positive all around.

Yes, let's play the SECCG in the heart of Big 12 country. Literally in the same venue as where the Big 12 title game is played.
