The Big 12 has gone 7-3 twice. SEC would have gone 7-3 in 2022 but #18 Tennessee choked to unranked Texas in the late game.

2013–14 Big 12 7–3
2014–15 Big 12 6–4
2015–16 Big 12 7–3
2016–17 Tie 5–5
2017–18 SEC 6–4
2018–19 Big 12 6–4
2019–20 Tie 5–5
2020–21 SEC 5–4
2021–22 SEC 6–4

*In 2021 the Kentucky vs Texas game was cancelled due to everyone being pussies.

Wait I read that wrong it was due to COVID. So same thing.

Just like most years, the SEC will probably perform better than predicted. I say we go 6-4.

Without researching, it seems like this challenge always goes 5-5 or 6-4 for the winning conference

Florida’s the only team to play in this every year? Can’t remember UK not playing

*Nvmd, I forgot about Texas the COVID year

You have no feasible reason for predicting an easy win over Iowa St

Feasible? We don't need no stinking feasibility.

And I never said it would be an easy victory. I said they would leave the arena with the ferocity of a weak fart.

If we're full power, we should win at home. Will be a good game.

It seems like Alabama plays Oklahoma and Kentucky plays Kansas every year.

Lol trust me: it wasn't because Texas was the one trying to avoid the other

For Kentucky that's pretty accurate.

22-23: Kansas (at Rupp)
21-22: at Kansas (W)
20-21: Texas (cancelled due to COVID)
19-20: at Texas Tech (W)
18-19: Kansas (at Rupp, W)
17-18: at West Virginia (W)
16-17: Kansas (at Rupp, L)
15-16: at Kansas (L)
14-15: Texas (at Rupp, W)
13-14: Baylor (neutral court, L)

Yeah they usually pair the 2 major hoops programs against each other. UF has played a pretty good slate.

2023 @ Kansas State
2022 OK State (@ UF) W
2021 @ West Va. W
2020 Baylor (@ UF) L
2019 @ TCU L
2018 Baylor (@ UF) W
2017 @ Oklahoma W
2016 West Va. (@ UF) W
2015 @ Kansas L
2014 Kansas (@ UF) W

Initial thought looking at the schedule: did the SEC actually have to include LSU and the entire state of Mississippi? Not including the Aggies this year kills the SEC's overall chances. Vanderbilt this year would give us a better shot against one of these lower tier Big 12 matchups as well.

Kentucky/Tennessee/UF traditionally take on the big boys in this challenge.

I’m torn

I think conference pride is retarded, yet I hope the big 12 pounds the SEC in the butthole tomorrow

I just want Tennessee to win ultimately, but I'll be amused if the SEC actually finds a way to win this thing tomorrow. Besides, Saturday represents one of the "Big 12"'s last cracks they will ever get at the SEC before we absorb the two athletic powerhouse universities of the Big 12 into our league.

Nor will I weep if a Kentucky L to Kansas winds up costing the SEC this entire challenge. In fact, I would find that rather funny if that happened exactly.

Question OP, is it true the Big 12vsSEC challenge is ending this year? That we are switching over to the ACC??
