Interesting that Florida is so far down this list. I always kinda thought they were more of the Johnny Come Lately types. Arkansas number 2 in total wins despite playing far fewer seasons.

Kind of a weird way to do this considering the amount of games played has changed drastically over time, especially in tournaments

Yea it is. But, there really isn't a way to get an accurate average other than just dividing it out really. Still gives a pretty good barometer of where each program has been all time.

Some Bama fan on here keeps saying that Bama has the 2nd most wins all time. He's gonna be upset.

Maybe he was referring to SEC play only?

Can you frickers stop trashing our basketball program now? We know we need some Final Fours. We're trying, dammit.

Basketball wasn't taken all that seriously here for a long time, we didn't have a full time basketball coach until the 1960's. We had a few pockets of success but things didn't really take off until Lon Kruger and then obviously Billy Donovan.

Bama is a heck of a lot better than expected.

Having that garbage high school arena doesn't help much either.

UF facilities are atrocious.

We've actually won quite a few SEC titles (third most regular season with 8, second most tournament with 6); sadly, only one Elite Eight and no Final Four appearances. We had a good run in the mid-80s, with two Sweet 16 games that were very close but no dice (6 and 5 point losses). Same for 1990, where we lost our S16 game by 2.

We've never won the NIT; have two runner-up finishes and a couple of 3rd place finishes. I know that at one point the NIT was considered more prestigious than the NCAA tournament, but I honestly have no idea when that changed.

It just received a $60 million renovation. They did a nice job bringing it up to date, but I'm sure we will be talking about a new arena in the next 15-20 years.

UF should have just built a new arena instead. They were already missing their OOC home games last year anyways, should have just missed hte whole season and rebuilt

We have to take care of a few things before we can build a new arena. Have to build a new natatorium first, it is currently attached to the O'Dome. Also have needs for the new standalone football facility, baseball and softball fields. A new arena would probably have meant another much needed project could not get done.
