They just put 1 one by me in Norrh Charleston. Seems to do a decent business, I will never understand a $10 flavored coffee but yet they are successful

The simple explanation is women. It defies logic.

My wife buys a latte from Starbucks every day. $11.47.

Now, it’s a little more expensive because it’s Rosemary Beach, FL, but it’s still ridiculous.

Is it ok to say I really dislike Dallas and environs?

Death sprawl all over, I understand the access to entertainment/food is likely very good. And tons of industry as well.

But man, what an ugly area.

No, it is not ok. Go F$%l yourself.

I've heard of Scooter's, never had it. Frisco is near the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and was one of the fastest growing north Dallas burbs until quite recently. It's still growing (McMansions galore) but some of the outlying areas further north are hotter than Frisco these days.

Moved to Frisco in 97 when there were only 20k residents. I have lived through the good and bad of incredible growth. It has been a great place to raise a family.
The Mayor and city council have done a great job of bringing businesses and sporting teams/events to the area.

How much do sponsor rights to shitty bowl games that no one cares about run these days? The bar for entry gets lower every year.

That was quite selective. Now show pics of the traffic and never ending suburbs.

I live in DFW, and DFW is indeed ugly as frick.

Money, airports, and fun place to be. But ugly.

My brother and his family lived there for about 8 years until they moved in 2022. You're right it's a great place to raise a family. Low crime, good school system and not far from a lot of entertainment/sports venues.

The (Herman) Frisco Bowl was originally started by my Rich uncle in my honor back in the early 50’s. Uncle Jimmy Johnny Frisco made his money in the import business. Mostly Chinese but some South Americans. He also hit a hot streak with a Columbia product. He sold the bowl to the Bobby Kennedy group. He only sold to come up with a hefty bail bond. Don’t forget to tune in.

Scooters is a chain coffee shop. The 2 in town are drive through that I always thought were just local.

Scooters coffee

The wife and daughter prefer Dutch brothers.
