Honestly, I just gotta go back to how ridiculous this place is. A&M spends the 6th most in the country, and brings in the 6th ranked class. Arkansas spends the 5th most in the country, and brings in the 20th or whatever class. And what's the first response? Lol @ A&M. So pathetic. Lots of yall got aggy issues.

Just like your boy Saban says, its unfair, amirite?

Arkansas doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what they are. That’s the difference.

Texas A&M is the laughing stock of the country and the only people not in on the joke are A&M cultists.

I mean, we were at 113 or something.

AR will always be towards the top of this list because there's not a lot of football talent in the state. TX is loaded so I'm not sure why your spending is so high. Same goes for Georgia, Bama, LSU.

Aggy thinks they're LSU or Auburn but in reality they're gay Moo State.

Won the last 2 out of 3 from Bama while doing it on the cheap. Seriously though, Auburn might have to step it up to keep up with everybody else.

I don't understand the responses in this thread. why are you all prioritizing cost efficiency over final result? If my school was spending more than anyone in the country and only cracked the top 10 in class rank I would be thrilled because that means my team's class rank was in the top 10. I cheer for my school's team, not my school's ledger.

LSU really doesn't have to travel far for the majority of their recruits

Neither do Georgia and A&M

It could be that, like with your coach it was a lot of money spent (thrown away) with no results.

now uses charter services which are accounted for as Recruiting instead of just being apart of the University .

So all charter flights used by the University are now under the recruiting budget?

Has anybody given an explanation for this?

It is really hard to compare school athletic budgets for this simple reason:

quote:

It’s worth noting that while schools track the same types of expenses under the category of recruiting, the way they do their accounting could vary from school to school.
