Well I guess that means the Aggies next coach will be the guy that has to settle for Aggies.

He hated being at A&M I love how people are trying to overcomplicate this move when he was at TCU for 20 years and he only stayed in College Station for 2. He had no reason to leave other than hating A&M and their weirdo culture

I feel like Texas A&M has a pretty rabid and loyal fan base so feels like a reach to be that angry to be honest

Schloss really seems like a dick

Calling A&M fans a bunch of queers while you’re the head coach of one of their programs is an ultimate baw move. I love Schloss, no clue why other fanbases are rallying around awful arse A&M like Schloss is the bad guy for wanting to leave. Not a single person on this board would have any loyalty to that school if they were forced to live in College Station for multiple years.

Every fan base at the major programs is like this. Maybe he was just used to TCU, where they're just happy to be there.

I love how you are applying your personal preferences to him and everyone else. If you are a HC coaching a team into the National Title game and your priority is to leave because some of the fans are weird, that’s pretty weak. What actually would he have done if the Texas job wasn’t open? Was looking for other jobs? Seems like it’s a combo of wanting to work for his pal who is now at Texas and not getting along with the A&M AD Alberts.

And every single person would do the same in their own career.

If your buddy has a business in your field, while simultaneously you don't particularly care for your boss, and your buddy called you up and said, "Hey why don't you come do the same thing here. I'll also double your salary." Let's not pretend that you wouldn't take it.

This is moving the goalposts. You said he left because he hate A&M and their “weirdo”culture.

Leaving to work with a close friend is in fact a reason other that what you mentioned above. I have no issue with him leaving for that reason though I think it is chicken shite to do while coaching for a championship. I mean the job at Texas would still be there a week from now

There's another factor in play with a sports team that isn't typically in play at most jobs and that’s the players.

And once upon a time there was this virtue known as honor. But Schloss wouldn't know anything about that would he?

Buddy: you’ve posted on the rant over 250 times in the last 24 hours. Which is strange considering you declared to be “done forever” when Chicken opened the Texas and OU boards. This is not healthy behavior.

I mean this sincerely when I say maybe you should take a break for a little bit
