If you watch Zero Hour some of the dialogue is almost word for word. When the kid Joey goes to the cockpit and they give him a toy plane I was expecting the pilot to ask if he’s “ever seen a grown man naked” or if “likes movies about gladiators”

Actually it’s not nearly as much of an issue because of the 12 team playoff. Clemson got smoked by UGA week 1 last year and made the playoffs
It’s just stupid to never give yourself a “warm up” game. We played Ga So week 1 in 2019 before going to Texas.

I’m pretty sure Peyton was still projected to go #1. the year before he came. the only first round QB in the 97 draft was Jim Druckeiller :lol:

From 1970-1997 8 QBs were drafted #1. Starting with Peyton in 1998. 21 of 28 have been QBs

This is the ultimate non falsifiable claim. When a player goes back to school, he is not evaluated by the NFL teams. He doesn’t go to the Sr bowl or the combine or pro days or private workouts or interviews nor do teams watch his tape and fully evaluate him. Players projected to go high in drafts fall after they declare fall all the time, there’s a good example from this year :lol:

You do need 21 other starters 1st should be definite starters even 2nd rounders a/be starters plus if you take one every year that high, how long are you giving them? If you have an established starter, like Wolf did with Farve, then you shouldn’t be taking flyers until the 4th-5th round or your 4th 5th pick anyway if you have extra picks. Gabriel was a 3rd rounder but Cleveland’s 5th pick.
