Blocked punt, face masks, pi, jumping on td. And so on
Game is not real.

The reason you lost the game was Jim Chaney and Kirby Smart. Blame them not the B1G referees who have zero skin in Alabama or Georgia winning. Your coaches choked. Perio

For you to watch the replay and still say this says a lot. It's akin to saying the 9/11 terrorist attack was caused by the passengers not acting and taking down the plane. Congrats in showing everyone you are scum.

The title of that article is full of stupid. Don't they mean missed penalties that should have gone against "Alabama"???

Ask anyone from that conference. They are the worst officials in the NCAA.

Ask anyone from any conference and they'll tell you their officials are the worst.

Melt

Clemson got tons of call last year against Bama. That's football.

Maybe if you're up 20-7 late in the 3rd, you should win the game.

Alabama vs Clemson, Refs don't call a pick play and Clemson wins, it's a game, get over it.

I mean you’re not wrong but that also doesn’t mean the refs weren’t horrible tonight and bama greatly benefited why some people can’t admit this i will never know. Nobody is taking your trophy away, doesn’t mean we can’t all agree the refs were horrible

UGA was given a TD when their receiver clearly had his shoe touching the sideline. I don't wanna hear BS about refs. That's excuses.

Yeah I actually thought it was gonna be much worse when I read the thread title.

Ok they messed up the blocked punt - major bad call, but it was called because the guy who jumped the snap, not only started his run early, but also hesitated midway making himself look guilty. Understandable miss by the refs

Im ok with missed incidental facemasks and extracurricular shite. Who cares. That's not egregiously bad officiating. If they hadn't called that facemask on the sideline with Ridley, I wouldn't have cared much at all.

Understand that these refs have just as many nerves as the players in these huge games. There's a reason they don't throw as many flags in big games, and like someone else said, we got fricked vs Clemson last year - it's part of the game

When you look at penalty yards, it was almost an even split.

Not great officiating, but not bad either. I also think they got the call right when they said the Georgia receiver stayed in bounds

BMY has literally every angle covered. This is one of the main reasons I'd wanted to avoid Bama altogether. They are like a cartel with government backing in these games. They don't need the refs but somehow seemingly get the benefit.

Other than that, Saban made the right personnel changes in the 2nd half, while Smart and Chaney did the opposite.

Meh. There was one really bad call that I noticed. We will never have a mistake free game by officials. Both teams played very well.

I don't think football is serious enough to necessitate a 9/11 comparison.

What personnel changes should Georgia have made?

I'm not saying to pull Chubb. But Sony was the hot hand. More carries would have been understandable.

And I don't know why McGhee didn't get more snaps at CB. He had been getting those reps all year.

I see those 2 personnel moves as bigger than the playcalling.

We all wanted Chubb to bring it home, but he didn't have it all game and Michel looked great. Parish looked awful from the start.

Oh well, it was one hell of a season. Congrats to Bama btw.

WTF is wrong with you?

Also, equating a football game to a terrorist attack and then calling the other guy "scum"? Really?

I didn't disagree, I'm simply saying that we can't change it, yes some calls were laughable like the block that was ruled offsides.

Ed O at QB baw, he would have YAW YAWD that bama D like a roped gator on the bayou, no pads, no helmet, shirtless, and pissed , at the half he'd look right at the camera and say " we comin and we ain't backin down", of course I'd turn my TV off knowing that my team had basically just lost its second consecutive National Championship.

This.

I enjoy watching the athleticism. Too bad big money has to corrupt everything. I guess that's why people still watch WWE.
