It is refreshing to see the strong players pick off all the weak ones. In other seasons players like Chrissy and Cedric 100% are carried to the final.

The reality is that outside of the majors+players, most people just don't care about these random one off tournaments and adding back 10-15 liv guys isn't going to change that.
ETA one positive that has came from this LIV deal, I do believe it has increased interest/intrigue in the major tournaments.

Agree that solo leveling doesn’t have the story that attack on titan or even demon slayer give you but man it is straight heat and a fun ride

You need to move over to Crunchyroll, all of the great anime is over there.
Solo Leveling just finished S2 and it is extremely good.
But if you have never watched shows like Attack on Titan or Demon Slayer you are really missing out. I cannot emphasize enough how good these shows are. After watching those I would move to Jujutsu Kaisen, FMA Brotherhood.

It is tough to single out 1 player for a 4 game series but I think most people hoped he would take a huge step forward this season and was one reason to be very excited and it’s looking like he might just not be good

The concerning part is that literally every single hitter was arse which tells me it’s not just 1 player in a slump but a larger thing happening to the entire team. And yes i don’t even know what to think with the bullpen

I think most everyone just jumped the gun with this team. This offense is still laughably bad and it is going to be that way until Ron comes back and frankly he has to be great for the offense to turn a corner.
The pitching is probably going to be good enough to win most nights once strider is back.
But neither of those guys are back and playing the best teams in the NL without them is going to be brutal

The Braves are a terribly slow team and also not good on the base paths. They are built to mash HRs and that is it.

Nothing will ever top the S1 finale but it was a really strong ending to the season. Answered (confirmed) some stuff yet still left a ton unanswered. They had to find a way to keep a lot of the core people inside Lumon and they came up with a pretty plausible explanation to get them there. I have to think next season largely involves either Helly or mark on the testing floor in the Gemma position, the others trying to tame their tempers and perhaps Irving working on the outside to get them out. Or maybe even they bring Irving back considering the circumstances.

I agree with you for the most part but I think there is a Lumon angle at play when it comes to what is the ultimate goal. We have been beaten over the head with their weirdness and the 4 pillars or whatever, I think there will be more to it than just them removing suffering from peoples lives

If that episode didn’t blow you away you should immediately stop watching. We got a deep look into wtf lumon is actually doing while at the same time getting the first real look into Gemma/mark. It was a crazy good episode of tv and how they navigated back and forth was insane
