I went to the Egg Bowl in Starkville many years ago. My friend had been a starting fullback for Jackie Sherrill (those two facts tell you how long ago it was, lol) and I got to meet Coach Sherrill. Had a great time.

Wouldn’t want to live there but have enjoyed the 4 away game weekends in Starkville. Sure it’s not a metropolis and it’s in the middle of nowhere, but plenty of good food, cold beer, and nice people.
