Buzz has done a pretty poor job with this A&M team. The roster, even without Marvel and Coleman, should be better than this.

We really needed a road win. We play well at home. We have been awful on the road. Sigh. Getting too old for this.

FT’s will kill you. A&M was 12-22 FT and lost by three. State has struggled at the FT line this year. Every team should be 75-80% at the foul line. So many games are lost or won because of missed or made FT’s.

A few things have been proved this past week: Auburn is just an average team on the road, A&M is terribly overrated, Kentucky can win on the road, if they play a struggling opponent; Georgia can't beat Florida, Vandy and Missouri can't beat their way out of a paper bag, and LSU sucks.

Big day for the state of Mississippi, and now we get Egg Bowl hoops in Oxford on Tuesday. Winner of that game will probably feel very good about where they are.

We are at home for this one. But we play in Starkville as well. If we can split 1-1 with State that would be a big step for the school of misfits. The whole team and coach are new. Pieced together in a few short weeks.
