Sark's best season at Washington had four losses.

His first season at USC had four losses. He was fired after five games in his second season and already had two losses.

In his five full seasons at Texas, only one season has had fewer than three losses.

He could easily get to three or four losses this season.

Sarkisian is a good coach and Texas has been in the national picture for a while now.

He's much better than Strong and Herman. And he's 3-3 vs OU.

Dude I watched every snap Ced ever had at Texas, CJ is not a fraction the player he was. Maybe if he hadn't been injured he could have developed but he is not even close

Texas beat writer

CJ Vogel
@CJVogel_OTF

My last comment tonight on the Texas offense through five games.

• It’s projected to have its fourth straight year of scoring less points than the previous season.

• It currently has the highest 3-&-out drive rate of any team in the SEC.

• Texas is averaging 1.63 points per possession in two SEC games. That mark ranks 103rd in the country.

• Texas is averaging 2.97 yards per rush on 109 attempts against P4 opponents this season.

#Texas last three regular season games off a bye:

0–3 record

• Outscored 91–55 in those losses
• 8–37 on 3rd down attempts (21.6%)
• Averaging 2.62 yards per rush
• More penalty infractions than opponent in all 3 games

CJ Vogel
@CJVogel_OTF

#Texas has 194 rushing attempts through 5 games.

Only 3 have gone for 20+ yards.

Texas has gone 140 consecutive rush attempts without a 20+ yard run.

Derrek Cooper’s 16-yard 2Q run vs. Oklahoma is the only run in the last 80 attempts that has gone for 15+ yards.

Nah he is a problem. But sark is dumb for taking him. Should be playing at Tulane and putting up fun highlights from time to time. Not being hyped as the #1 overall pick in the draft.

Texas has a boatload of bought talent on their team. I can get Horn fans frustration with the loss...

But this game is crazy sometimes do to the pressure and monumental momentum shifts...

Sometimes the better team doesn't win in the Cotton Bowl.

Ask Gary Gibbs.

You're paying the guy you want to fire $11M per year and he has another 5 seasons on his deal after this season ends. He signed his first contract extension (which extended him through 2030 and raised him to ~$10M/year) in January 2024 after he went 5-7, 8-5, 12-2 in his first three years.

LINK

So actually you did give him a huge extension at the first hint of success.

Maybe he lost some explosiveness, but looks to me like similar type of back who can run between the tackles.

Sark needs to drop the ego and just be the Head Coach.

I have absolutely no issue with his ability to design plays and manage the team overall. He does a good job representing the University.

Go out and hire Lincoln Riley as OC when USCw fires him this year.

But if Sark refuses to put the ego aside and he says he will continue running the offense because that’s why we hired him..

Pull the trigger.

Colt’s biggest accomplishment is his role in “if Colt hadn’t got hurt.”

Prove me wrong.
