Y’all do this every year because no one wants to work for saban very long. Kirby is the outlier and it seems he was only leaving for UGA.

Wait wait wait...Chip Long?

The guy who ran the other offense that got curb stomped by Clemson this year? That's who's going to save us from Sark's proven mediocrity?

Jesus Tapdancing Christ. Saban hasn't just lost it, he's fiddling while Rome burns.

Locks let was garbage before Tua. It’s anazing what talent can do to resurrect a career. Sark >>>> Locksley in just about any metric you can fathom.

Some don't seem thrilled about this.

After looking over what he's done recently, I was pleasantly surprised to note that the Falcons offense was SIGNIFICANTLY better under Sarkisian than it was under Shanahan.

If he's coming back, I'll take it.

The QB whisperer leaving was the nail in the coffin. It's over.

I thought the nail in the coffin was the Kick 6...no, it was Ole Miss beating us in 2014...no, it was Ohio State whupping us in the Sugar Bowl...no, it was Ole Miss beating us again in 2015...no, it was Deshaun Watson beating us in the 2016 CFPCG...no, it was AU beating us in the 2017 Iron Bowl...no, it was Kirby Smart and UGA winning the 2018 recruiting title...no, it was Clemson destroying us last Monday...and now it's the QB whisperer leaving...

But you may be right...the run's gotta end some time so maybe it'll be this next season...even if it's not, I'm sure somebody will come up with another one...

This is a very odd hire. There is no way to spin it.

Why is Cochran still there? Why did Burton Burns stay for so long? Both of those have been with him longer than Kirby so apparently Smart was no outlier. Why did Kevin Steele, Bo Davis, and Lance Thompson all come back to coach for Saban again after leaving? Why is Sarkisian coming back when he could've taken the Arizona Cardinals OC job? Why do so many coaches come to Saban and Bama as analysts to rehab their careers?

LOL CLEMSON HELD HIM TO THREE POINTS.

GREAT frickING PLAN.

Seriously though, why is it so hard to accept the idea that Saban is losing it? Everyone does. Bryant, Bowden, Paterno, all of them.

Saban could always hire a 85 year old retired TE coach to run the offense. Worked at LSU. Amiright?

Yeah, I did. Matt Ryan had the second most passing yards in his career along with his second highest completion %. Julio led the league in receiving yards...and they did this with an Atlanta OL that was a hot mess (season ending injuries took out both starting guards) and our starting RB was hurt and out for most of the season. Most Falcons' fans would tell you that the defense was the primary reason we had such a down year this season...

That being said, Sark wouldn't have been my first choice as OC...but considering Saban has a history with him and another NFL team offered him their OC position, I don't see this as such a disaster. And, if I recall correctly, not many on this board thought much of our last two OC hires, including many in our own fan base, but they worked out so I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Saban and wait and see...

Dude, Shanahan was five times the OC Sark could ever dream of. It has nothing to do with numbers. Sark was a disaster for Atlanta. He inherited the best offense in the league and managed to make it look like shite. Our PPG went from 1st to 15th in his first year. He should have been ran out of town a long time ago. Dan Quinn was an idiot to hire a known headcases to run his offense knowing his job is no longer secure. I am so happy that clown is gone.
