ESPN reporting Steve Sark to Bama as OC. Train wreck and Saban heart attack soon to follow.

Still sad that you 1980's lost your OC to Tennessee?

Chaney wasn’t good and I’m not sad to see him leave. But Sark is GOD AWFUL. Congrats. Only worse hire I know of would be Brian Schottenheimer. Both suck arse

Chip Long and Sark

Put me in the good with Sark hire category. After giving it some thought, I'm good with it. He's a good coach.

Obviously Saban is trying to keep some continuity by hiring a guy that has been there before. Could work, but Sark seems toxic.

No one fails up, sideways, or down like Sark.

I mean, I trust Saban because he’s earned it, but I feel like we started down this road once before only to realize it led somewhere we had no interest in going. But I guess we’ll see.

This is more shocking than the outcome of the NC game.

If Kiffin didn't give him a heart attack, I doubt Sark will...

Just have to wait and see...many didn't think much of the Kiffin, Daboll, or Locksley hires when they were announced but they worked out. I suspect Sark will do pretty well...my biggest concern is he probably won't stay long and we'll be doing this again in a year or two. My pipe dream is that Chip Long joins the staff as well as co-OC/QB coach and can take the reins down the road...

But we know what happens when Sark calls plays at Alabama.

The QB whisperer leaving was the nail in the coffin. It's over.
