"Any way you slice it, it’s eight more losses. So if you are fortunate enough to be part of that discussion from the committee, how much is the committee going to value one more conference game in the SEC, right?"

He added: "To some degree we put the cart before the horse."

It's almost like a lawsuit/threats of expulsion before any rules were broken.

This conference is a joke. If we can see all of these issues, what kind of mess is there behind the scenes?

Texas went from 'gonna own SEC' to anticipating a ninth game as a loss.

I don’t. I like the 9 game because it brought our traditional opponents back at least every other year. Actually feels like an SEC schedule instead of a b12 schedule or whatever

It's a completely unforced error. The SEC already has the hardest path to the CFP, why the frick would you make it harder?

Even with a 24 team playoff, now our teams will just be more beat up, facing an even larger playoff slate. The teams that play weak schedules still have an advantage, maybe even more so now.

We're selling out the long-term good of the conference for some short-term profits. If this incompetence continues, leaving the SEC may become a real option. Not because of all of this necessarily, but because of the path we're headed down and the current leadership we have, this includes presidents. It isn't just Sankey.

Because Auburn has no playoff hopes regardless

Auburn is simply hoping for a winning season these days.

Championships aren't even on the radar.

Yeah, but now the SEC set the precedent with Kiffin saying something about pro players at halftime. If he can't say that, they should have to do something to Sark too. It's fricking ridiculous. But, that is what Sankey has opened the conference up to.

Let's not forget Heupel inciting violence during the offseason.

Why would 8 game sbe compared to a Big 12 schedule? All you added was Texas and OU who will likely be in the top half of the league (it isnt like you added bottom feeder Big 12 team) so why would that make it feel like a Big 12 schedule?

Or are you saying you miss the East vs West?

WTF? Are you saying Kiffen joking about brining pro players at half time (which I dont think he was nor should be punished for) is the same as Sark saying a 9 game schedule could have consequences for SEC teams?
