No coach in college football has more morals than Lane Kiffin. He fought for the players all the while following every rule. Props to Lane for being the beacon of light in the crap pile that is college ball.

Everyone loves Sark. I’ve learned from this Board that Kiffin is the renegade…

Correction: that is a Longhorn steer.

Was that the last time that aggy beat us?? Back in 1892??

No, not the last time… but it’s fine. Y’all can gloat after last years game.
Kudos for not throwing out some lame BEVO denial…

Not sure why Huston is ineligible. I thought he hadn’t crossed the arbitrary line? There has to be a line, and the conference drew it where they drew it. It was easy to draw it to isolate a single school instead of trying to get 7 or 8 schools to reverse course. Sucks for us, but I get it. It’s definitely necessary or eventually 6 year veterans of the NFL will get cut, enroll at a school and get an injunction to play.

Yeah, I have heard the Bevo story that you relayed all my life.
I just checked Google’s AI on my iPhone though, which says that much of that old tale is not true. But the AI explanation is pretty entertaining also:
“No, the story that UT students altered an Aggie "13-0" brand to spell "Bevo" is false, though the physical branding itself actually happened.
According to the Texas Exes, “For years, Aggies have proudly touted the stunt as the reason the steer acquired his name. But was the brand really changed? And is that why he's called Bevo?”.
Historical records show that the legend is inaccurate for a couple of key reasons:
1. The name came first: The steer was already referred to as "Bevo" in print by the University of Texas campus magazine editor Ben Dyer two and a half months before Texas A&M students broke in and branded "13-0" on the animal in early 1917.
2. The brand was never altered: While the Aggies did successfully brand "13-0" onto the longhorn's hide, UT students never actually modified the mark to try and spell "Bevo" as the folklore claims.
The real fate of Bevo I: Because the steer was unmanageable and upkeep costs were high during World War I, the original Bevo was not retired to a pasture; instead, he was fattened up and served as the main course at the January 1920 football banquet, where UT invited Aggie guests to share the meal and returned the branded hide as a gesture of fair play.

…so is LSU; neither team rostered the players.
It’s just that Kiffin is doing it with an attitude.

Here is an analogy for the SEC rule concerning the pro players Several players have tonsillitis, and the SEC says you can have your tonsils removed. 25 of those players have tonsil removal done by a regular surgeon, while 2 of them have a throat specialist remove their tonsils. The SEC then (after the precedures are done, and all players released by their doctor) creates a rule that the 2 players who had a specialist do the precedure are ineligible, whole the other 25 are eligible. Then, hundreds of idiots get on the RANT to rip those 2 players as ineligible and their coach as immoral. We have to read page after page from keyboard docters using AI to argue how getting tonsils removed by a specialist somehow gives them unfair competitive edge. Those same keyboard warriors with KDS attempt to explain how those 2 players are preventing freshman student opportunities but somehow those 25 other pro players are not,
Did you seriously type all this to simply avoid the sentence: signed a contract…
I give you a 10/10 for the mental gymnastics though.

So let me get this straight
All of that shite talking, and Sark is actually the only guy who had one of these guys rostered in all of this mess. And now he’s giving up on it.
So basically he did the same thing that Lane did except he actually had the guy on the roster. A Dallas judge even granted the injunction so he could play. A court event that Sankey never even showed up to. Unlike the one in Louisiana.
And that’s ok I guess. Nothing to see here.
It’s going to be a fun year

Mizzou/Texas rostered ineligible players. Mizzou played theirs’
LSU didn’t even roster them

Sark is temu kiffin.
Once kiffin implements something and leaves sark can kinda get close to filling his shoes. Maybe like 75% of the way.
Theres a reason both pete Carroll and Saban went with kiffin first

Sark said for a reason not related to the injunction he currently has.
We wrote the rules for the SEC so don't expect him to be ruled ineligible there either. My sources tell me it's just a matter of time till he's cleared.

If the players in question took money as pay as a Pro, then they are not entitled to play is my opinion
