Player of the week by whom?
Journalists?
Coaches?
SEC conference office?
This is a legitimate question.
I beg to know who determined the weekly award shared by Fuller.

I'll copy and paste my response from the other thread cause dammit it's worth saying again
Is there any woman out there who actually feels like this is equality. They are treating an SEC champion goalkeeper like she's the towel manager with down syndrome who got put in for one play. I'd be embarrassed by all this shite if I was Sarah

Agreed - Compare this to the women that referee basketball or football games. Those women are legitimately good at what they do (or at least equal to the men, and they are there because they can perform the task required at an acceptable level).
This is pure nonsense, and everyone knows it. Especially because there are girls out there who I know could actually contribute as kickers on a D1 college football team. This one can't.

At this rate I’ll be the heisman and I’ve been on the couch all year.

Has Sarah ever been named Player of the Week as a Soccer player?

What a joke
Again, if she'd been working with the team all summer and got a chance to break the barrier, even in a meaningless, small way, I probably wouldn't care. No, it's not "deserved," but at least in that setting it would have some genuine meaning.
But this was a girl who had no interest in the outcome of the game and had no meaningful involvement with the team that I can tell. It's not just a slap in the face to the actual special teams players who work for recognition like this, it's a slap in the face to the entire concept of putting team above self.

To add to that no one goes over the top to pat these woman on the back for simply showing up and doing a job. That's equality....treat a woman as you would treat a man. This is a three ring circus... She's clearly an athlete at a high level if she's the starting keeping for a championship squad.... I have to think deep down she's embarrassed by all this

I love how one of the still shots is her doing something she never even attempted

And she still had the balls (?) to chew the team out at halftime for not caring enough

Will she be one of the finalists for the Heisman?

Prior to this season she'd only played in 2 soccer games due to injury or being 3rd string.

If and when a female contributes to a P5 game in any meaningful way, she won't get the credit she deserves.
And I don't mean kicking a game winner.
If Fuller had been 3rd string all year and was just waiting for the rare circumstances to align to give her a chance to get in the game, I think we'd all be perfectly happy to celebrate her getting a chance to kickoff.

I hadn't seen that. Wow. That's even worse.

went look it up and no she hasn't.
Sarah highlights for this year:
-With an 0.97 goals against average, the number stands as the eighth-best mark in a season in Vanderbilt soccer history
-Starting all four games during Vanderbilt’s 2020 SEC Tournament championship run, posted a shutout in the second round against Mississippi State (11/15/20) and had an assist in the quarterfinals against No. 13 Tennessee (11/17/20)
-Kept a clean sheet in Vanderbilt’s 1-0 victory over No. 15 Georgia (10/25/20)
-Earned a second consecutive clean sheet in the 2-0 victory at LSU (10/30/20)
Sarah had some pretty good accomplishments during the Soccer season. Never was named SEC Player of the Week.

Basically, they are saying her SEC Champion goalkeeper doesn't mean shite... I mean it was just women's soccer, right?
