Maybe don't disrespect your boss. Usually doesn't work out too well.

I'm really wondering if Sankey is getting legal advice then goes against everything his lawyers are telling him with due to his bruised ego. This feels like an ego trip of a dying man on his last breath. Someone better leash him before he gets the SEC sued into the ground. His case is weak.

Sankey isn’t going to kick LSU out. ESPN won’t allow it.

You keep saying this but it isnt true.
Especially now that LSU didnt roster the players in question. There are now zero rules broken outside of Sankeys feelings.

Nobody in the SEC should support this.
The commissioner suing a founding member and threatening to kick them out over butthurt is one of the most ludicrous things I’ve ever read.
I hope it happens. LSU will burn this conference down on the way out.

Too many people are missing the forest for the trees... This is a step that has to be taken by the SEC to make sure that the conference has its own autonomy. If they can't enforce their own rules, how do you enforce rules about media rights?
Kiffin just gave them easy additional material, but this type of encroachment by the state of Louisiana had to be defended or the SEC (and conferences in general) have no real functional purpose...

Sankey pushes this anymore, he’ll probably be gone before anything happens to LSU.

Why wasn’t this set in motion last basketball season then?

Where do you dipshits think you're going to go? B10 members are already pissed off about the miles they're traveling, you think they're going to add a team located in South Louisiana? The closest B10 campus to you is in Indiana, an 11 hour drive.
I swear some of y'all are frickin retarded when it comes to this situation. Zero logic left in some of you.
Enjoy the B12 I guess, don't let the door hit you idiots on the way out.

Don't have to be because Sankey is giving them all they need to in order to burn it in the ground on the way out. You realize he's the problem right? I'll bet he's getting pounded by all the SEC leadership after his hearing and embarrassing the SEC other day. The more action he takes, the more fuel he throws on the fire to sue the SEC with a very legit case. LSU has smartly not said much about this because Sankey is digging his own grave and they just taking notes as it goes along.

Sankey running to mommy because daddy was mean.

Sankey is such a little thin skinned weasel.
This isn’t just Sankey carrying out some personal crusade or vendetta. As I’ve said in another thread, Sankey reports to the presidents and chancellors of the member institutions. They’re his boss and he does as they direct him to do.
If you want to get mad at anyone, you’ll have to get mad at the presidents and chancellors of the other 15 members of the SEC.
