I am a LSU guy, but why isn't Sammie Coates getting more attention in the draft? The guy always seemed to make big plays. He is big and fast. What gives?

He's tall. He's fast. He runs great routes. He's strong as hell.

He can't really catch all that well.

His hands aren't the best. Route running questions. He's more of a 2/3 receiver in the NFL than a #1.

As long as it is a go route.

He is a physical freak, but a project as a true wideout.

I see your point, against Bama he had 5 catches for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Hands, but Julio Jones had the same problem - easy catches were constantly dropped. Coates is a steal at this point. He'll do very well IMO. His physicality and speed are well worth the money, even as a situational WR.
