Obviously not an Alabama fan but I dont think the 2014 playoff loss was that bad for them, both teams were pretty evenly matched. Alabama got up 21-3 early due to some turnovers by Ohio State, its not like Alabama was completely dominating the game and then took their foot off the gas. Ohio State was moving the ball early, the turnovers just got them into a hole but once they got those under control they were able to come back and it was a closer game the rest of the way.

It was actually 21-6, before Ohio State scored 28 in a row. Ohio State turned it over twice early, but Bama turned it over a bunch late (including a pick-six). Bama could not stop Ezekial Elliott, which was the difference in the game. Alabama had seven punts and three turnovers; Ohio State had six punts and two turnovers. I think people forget how great Ezekial Elliott was in those playoffs (476 total rushing yards). Hard to beat a team that has a guy averaging 8.5 ypc, and 240 yards per game.

was tOSU in 2014. up 21-3 with henry and refusing to give him the ball and blowing what probably would have been a national championship season.

Probably this one or Kick 6 game

Former because of those circumstances and letting Zeke run wild propelled that Ohio State team, a controversial playoff team selection by the way, to a natty and re-validated Urban as 1 and 1a with Saban at that time. I don't think Mariota and that Oregon team beat a Saban/Smart/Kiffin-coached team for a national title.

Kick 6 - one of the most unlikely finishes to a game in history, ended Bama's hopes for a 3peat but, on the positive side, it did cause Saban to reassess things offensively and bring Kiffin and later Sark on to modernize and diversify the approach. I probably argued myself out of saying that's his worst loss but at the time, the loss was cataclysmic in college football, would've been compounded had Auburn finished the job against FSU

Dark horse - 2022 Tennessee, probably the beginning of the end of Bama's reign under Saban or at least a signal to it, first time losing to UTK in the rivalry in well over a decade, surrendering 52 points, stuff Saban Bama teams rarely did, almost a foreshadowing to their eventual OT loss to LSU a few weeks later and the struggles they would have in Saban's final year culminating with that UM loss

2nd worst was michigan. milroe left the field with the win and our defense let a pedestrian michigan offense drive to score at the end and overtime

yeah, that defense with those players allowing that Michigan team to come back from a late 20-10 deficit to ultimately win is insane. I understand the argument for it as it was Saban's last game as HC, history will show that that Michigan team was an all-time great college team for this era but it did have that feeling that Bama let a possible sure natty as Saban's swan song slip away then as well as now

The Clemson arse stomping is number 1 for not even remotely preparing the team. Second is Cam back. I don’t give a damn who the QB is you don’t blow a more than 3 TD lead with that defense. Horrible job of coaching that game.

I was at this shite show in Jacksonville in ‘07. Two bad football teams and got beat by a backup QB.

Fun fact: This same day Auburn was in Gainesville playing Tebow and Urbs. Wes Byrum kicked the game winning field goal twice. It was the first time both BAMA and Aub were on the road in the same state. My hotel had 4-5 different team flags flying.

Many Tide fans said exactly that after OU slapped Bama around in the 2014 Sugar Bowl. But try not to get so triggered; that was mostly a tongue-in-cheek post.

Clemson beat Bama by 28 points in 2019. Score is closer than the gameplay suggested in its entirety.

The 2010 and 2013 Auburn losses were as embarrassing as it gets. Just utter incompetence.
