Because again, you dolt, you need three consecutive negative tests, spaced out 24 hours. Why would you publicize the first of those? And most level-headed people can read and follow protocols, so no, "they" wouldn't be in a world of shite.

Lol. How If there have been subsequent negative tests?

You seem pretty dense.

If they immediately announce his negative test, it isnt nearly as big of a deal

Lol. Again how? Protocol says he can't be cleared until tomorrow anyway.

Because it is batshit fricking retarded not to

"Coach Saban has tested negative on his first subsequent test. Hopefully this continues so he can coach on Saturday per protocols"

Why on God's green earth would it ever be handled differently?

Its pretty clear he has a confirmed positive

Because they don't have to.

The fact that this is even a conversation proves that some people know he's had negative tests.

Depending on the test, a false positive is not only possible but probable.

How’s this?

White male privilege at its finest. This decision just emphasizes the misogynistic, systemic racial barriers that exist in this country. If Nick Saban were a black man he’d have been arrested for even suggesting he participate and murdered by the corrupt cops before he even got to jail— instead the white man gets what he wants yet again and gets to order his black players around like a slave master. All this does is create an even bigger canyon for us to circumvent once the orange Cheeto finally leaves office.

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty proud of myself, I didn’t know I had that much bs in me.

So he's going to come back, potentially infect a bunch of players, and put the season for the entire team in jeopardy? You don't even believe that, you're just being contrary at this point. Or possibly you're just very butthurt.

Crap. Some of you guys are amazing. I already said that I am sure we will see him along the sideline tomorrow night. What do you want me to say?

I'm just not going to explain simple English to an American. If you are right and he coaches tomorrow night feel free to look me up and I will apologize publicly to you.

If not, then you can reciprocate. Deal?

I don’t think any of the current tests have over a 50% false positive rate. Regardless, the SEC uses PCR testing which is the malt accurate

If Saban has been testing negative, Alabama has handled this horrifically in a way to almost purposefully cast the biggest conspiracy cloud as possible if he coaches Saturday

I don’t believe Bama is dumb, so that’s why I beleive he has a confirmed positive like CBS stated. I also don’t think it matters. Saban’s worth isn’t game day anyway. It’s his recruiting and culture

Serious questions: You clearly believe CBS has an additional quote or statement from UA regarding those tests...

1. Why did CBS not publish that statement or quote?
2. Why would CBS be the only news outlet in the entire universe to be given that information? Not the team beat writers, not the local newspaper, not ESPN. Nobody but CBS had access to that information?

Neither of those scenarios make any sense.

Once upon a time, Football Scoop was an excellent source for coaching changes. Now, they clickbait you to death with "report: Saban to coach" BS. One guy on TV speculated without proof - hardly a report.

I don’t. I agree covid is bullshite and if he isn’t sick he shouldn’t have to get tested period. So the entire thing is dumb as shite

But you can’t have coaches coaching from home on game day. If you did, that is an absolute colossal can of worms opening up

That is extremely unlikely, as Saban tested positive for COVID.

Doesn't change the fact that your comprehension skills are bad.

Fair enough.

quote:

1. Why did CBS not publish that statement or quote?
Because it does not need a quote. A simple statement to the fact that the University confirmed it is sufficient.

quote:

2. Why would CBS be the only news outlet in the entire universe to be given that information? Not the team beat writers, not the local newspaper, not ESPN. Nobody but CBS had access to that information?

This is the pertinent question and a good one. Answer? I have no idea.

I do tend to agree with the LSU fan, though, that if he had tested negatively in subsequent tests, why would they not publicize that?

Now. Again. I just really don't care that much. We will see tomorrow night.

Crap dude. isn't it your fan bases contention that he is now testing negative and WILL be on the sideline....or maybe you missed the thread title? Or maybe it's just your own comprehension?

Just so we are on the same page....YOU are arguing that he will be on the sideline tomorrow night, and I am arguing that he will not be there.
