There will be an insane amount of blowback if he is. Regardless if protocol was followed or not.

No one knows if he has tested positives in subsequent tests or not.

The article seems like speculation but regardless of whether Saban is there or not Alabama is going to roll.

Maybe, but only by tribal ignoramuses.

In other words, America in 2020.

Depends on how transparent they are with test results, IMO. Hopefully if that’s the case, UA and the SEC will release a detailed statement regarding the negative results and timeline and cite CDC guidelines. That should keep the blowback to a minimum. Plus, Nick Saban is a noted liberal - which means the media will play nice.

Why would there be blowback? A series of negative tests would indicate the initial test was a false positive, which actually makes up a fairly high number of "positive" cases, unfortunately.

He would already be out coaching if he had a series of negative tests....

Look, the entire ordeal is fricking shite. But Saban, who preached at all of us to follow the guidelines and bullshite rules, now doesnt like the rules

Nick Saban the last few months

"Do your part. Listen to the CDC guidelines. Even if it means losing your job, We are in this together"

Now after having to potentially miss 10 days of paid leave

"frick these fricking rules"

You're wrong. There has to be three consecutive days of negative tests, 24 hours apart. This only came up on Wednesday. Test Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Three days.

Stop talking about the rules that you don't fricking know anything about.

That’s not how the rules work.

He doesn’t like the rules restricting a head coach from having any contact, even verbal or video, with his team. That is an absurd rule, regardless of your opinion if covid guidelines. Him coaching on Saturday wouldn’t happen “because he doesn’t like the rules.” None of the rules have changed.

What do the CDC guidelines have to do with the SEC’s rule on a coach not being able to communicate with his team?

You’re being very melty in this thread.
