This little fella never ceases to amaze. Whats funny is that he's dead serious. He didnt think anyone would take his excuse as an excuse. Come on man, wtf. What a tool, the bama boys will tear that statue down the day they get rid this egomaniac. There actually may be something to the Napoleon theory.

How does Austin look now?

Saban always uses media days as an opportunity to push for some rule change or other modification to the game or it's structure.

Nothing to see here.

I'm sure he was equally suprised when Jonathan Taylor whipped his girls arse.

You're just mad that your former coach is now bathing in crimson and cash money. While LSU's coach is talking about kissing players on the mouth, eating grass, and losing 4 in a row.

I asked what he thought of Nick Saban’s proposal that the NFL move its deadlines back on juniors declaring early for the draft.

“ I agree with him,” Miles said. “I think it’s something that should be given thought to.”

If any two coaches in the country understand the issues created by the Dec. 15 deadline to ask the NFL for an evaluation and the Jan. 15 deadline to declare for the draft, it’s Miles and Saban.

LSU has been riddled by departing juniors in recent seasons. Twenty Tigers in the past three years have left early, and 10 in 2013 alone.

“ What you would like to do is have time with each player, be able to describe his situation,” Miles said about the NFL evaluations. “And if you have 10 guys – oh my gosh, in the middle of bowl practice – it’s impossible. So back (the deadline) up. Why make (the decision) in a hurry?

“ I’ll tell you something, every agent skirts the issue. You’ve got five agents chasing 10 guys. We’re one to 10. We’ve got 10 guys to talk to. He (Saban) is exactly right.”

In other newes, absolutely nobody suprised with LSU fans' continued obsession with Saban (aka "little fella").

I'm jealous of LSU fans. When your team goes 8-5 you don't have to worry about excuses why you didn't win the national championship.

Great post, Jatebe. No one will discuss the validity behind Saban's comments - even after Miles agreed with them. That doesn't support their "excuse making" narrative.

What saban said was players were distracted from the playing field in a bowl game

Miles said he never saw (except maybe one) player tank a bowl game because of the draft.

Miles says here he wishes he had more time to give to the players to belp them make the best decision.

Big difference in what saban said and miles.

But we all know saban only cares about his own agenda, whereas miles truely cares about his players
