Brady looked like a 40+ year old most of the game, but they still won. They said they scraped the entire game plan in the third quarter and started writing plays in the dirt. How did they do when Brady was suspended?

Brees would have wiped the floor with the pats like they did the rams

The Saints had their chances. The bad call overshadowed the fact that they still were only a FG better than the Rams.

Doesn't matter ..all that matters is Saints made the play to win game...and a corrupt call took it away.saints won

Saban said at the time that the reason e took the Fin's job was that he was finally given complete control of the team, top to bottom. Look at what complete control at Bama means. Do you honestly believe that his own medical staff....the doctors he signed off on....would over ride any of his decisions, let alone one this important? He made a personnel decision that turned out to be horrible and that happens to every coach, Bama fans will just not admit their god made a mistake.

6-2 in NCs vs
6-3 in NCs

Not exactly a huge difference.

Saban is too much of a prick to command the respect of guys making 3 times what he makes. And he wants to be his own GM

He’s better suiting to running college team where he controls all aspects of everything

That is not the point of the discussion.
Yes. It actually is. There's so much difference in coaching college football compared to the pro game that it's virtually impossible to accurately compare the two.

Absolutely..to this day Saban is strictly in control..and he controls himself...his policy is strictly adherent to the med decision by the med staff

You responded to my post, but that is not my quotes. I think Belichick would do very well in College. He has proven that rules are not important (Spygate) and he can coach X's and O's better than anyone in the game. The big difference between him and Saban is that Belichick is also a great gameday coach.

Makes his money in the film room and practice field. His best game day decision was the on-side kick against Clemson, but he countered that with Fake FG this year. Other than that you do not think he outcoached the other coach to win the game. He out prepared them.

P.s- putting Tua in against UGA was a no brainer, plus it was against Kirby.

These low information 'tards think success in the pros easily equates success in college when its a completely different skill set. Yes the X's and O's are the same and coaching is the same other than that, its completely different.

Can you envision Belichick hitting the recruiting trail to visit some 17 year old and have dinner with Mom and Dad to discuss their sons future?

Revisionist bullshite. Saban got out because he knew he was better suited for college. He couldn't cherry pick his roster in the NFL. His style doesn't work as well with guys who are grown men and who are millionaires. Let's not forget that Saban has built Bama into a powerhouse by stacking his rosters with elite players because of his gift at recruiting. Belichick has built a dynasty using a revolving door of players around a few core pieces.
