One less than Saban, while playing on average 4 more games each season.

I do NOT buy in to the "Nick Saban the best coach in CFB History" lunacy. Here are three reasons why UAT is so successful at football: 1) UAT has an unlimited football budget and spends more money than any other SEC member on gold-plated over the top gaudy football facilities, coaches salaries and recruiting 2) No university admissions office "interference" (also Bama is one of only three SEC schools, along with Ole Miss and MS State that accepts Ds on high school and/or college transcripts and 3) Most importantly Saban has no interference from the UAT administration and the reality is that Bama football is only peripherally affliated with UAT. In essence you can take the McDonald's drive-through window guy and he could win 10 games at UAT (ie Mike Dubose won a SEC championship at UAT). How many games and/or championships would Saban win at GA Tech, Washington State, Indiana, Kansas et al? He is a "great" coach because he coaches at UAT, the last college football factory left in America!

Saban's been to 8 championship games in 15 years and won 6...Belichick's been to 9 in 18 years and won 6...I'd say they're comparable...

He would dominate the ACC at Georgia Tech with Atlanta area recruiting

In 2 of Saban Championships, he wouldn't have even been in the playoffs based on the NFL Standard.

You can't say the same thing about Belichick and a couple of Super Bowls if the NFL used the BCS format?

have been saying it for a while, give Saban 4 weeks and he can take Ole Miss and win a NC Game. Give him less than 10 days and he becomes very average against good teams. Belichick proved again last night that he can shut down another team with two weeks to prepare. Maybe that is why Saban got out of the NFL.
I seem to remember Belichick losing a couple of Super Bowls as well.
Idiot

One is earned on the field, the other on Sports Center. There is parity in the NFL.

Nothing wrong with losing as long as you win some as well? Capiche?

UA benefits from Saban and Saban benefits from UA. Combine them and you have an unprecedented dynasty in college football.
Cool

No, not as long as it is an invitational tournament.

Even the 2010 3 loss team could have won the Natty in a 12 team playoff

Who would you say is better? How many other coaches have won 5 championships in a 9-year span? The only coach who's won as many championships as Saban is Bear Bryant...but he coached at Bama as well so I guess he's out...

Could the McDonald's dude do it consistently though? The three coaches who coached before Saban arrived each had one 10-win season; altogether though, they averaged less than 7 wins a season. Saban has averaged over 12 wins a season in the twelve seasons he's been at Bama. He's had 11 straight 10+ win seasons finishing in he top 10 each of those years. If Bama is such a college football factory, why didn't someone have success like this before he got there?

Quick side note. Two weeks is more than 10 days.
Simple math is hard for AU grads.

But you have to get into the playoff by "on the field performance". At least win your division. Even wildcard selection is an objective criteria with only 32 teams.

BS. The NFL standard allows teams that do not win their divisions into the play-offs...

First, there is no "UAT" - the moment says this, it basically screams "I'm biased but you should listen to MEEEEEEE!"
Second, you're right - Alabama has infinity money. They just print more when they run out.

Prove it or STFU. Seriously, it's easy to toss this crap out but it means nothing otherwise.

As opposed to have the guy from Yellawood walking the sidelines, or your former coach who is now AD trying to coach the OL, thereby violating NCAA rules?

Another troll who is a prisoner of the moment. Last season in the Super Bowl Belichick's defense gave up 41 points to a backup QB and lost. Things change with different personnel.
Nice try, though.
