Damn straight.

And anyone dismissed from a school for anything short of murder would get a second chance at AU.

Coach doesn't look like he's worried about a damn think laid back in that Lazy Boy.

And is that Kristin Saban in the back of that pic? She has put on some poundage in the last year.

Yea good thing, because unlike our two dope smoking wannabe gangsta idiots Duke actually had a tendency to hurt real human beings. Lord knows what he would have done with a gun.

But you never heard Gus say that Duke was kept on the team for the good of Duke or the Team. I do not think Duke was ever charged with a felony while he was at AU. Bammers, where do you draw the line ?

Well, at least he was honest that the only reason he was there was because he was good at catching footballs?

Well, the only reason he wasn't was because his teammate decided not to press charges on his for breaking his fvckin jaw, which only happened because Gus let the crazy person stick around his roster because he was good at football. But hey, no biggie there. Bammer ain't involved!

If I was the Diamond kid I'd want to punch Gus in the fvckin face. Seems like a good place to draw a line.

You need to get your story straight, Duke was kicked off the team because he broke his teammates jaw ? At least Gus drew a line, Nick so far has proven choking your girlfriend, robbing a fellow student and now carrying a stolen weapon is not to that threshold.

Can't wait to see how bad it is when 74 lines up at LT against USC.

LOL - I didn't want Taylor around, but he didn't do that at Alabama, and the second he did something that seemed like it he was booted (even though it ended up being totally false).

robbing a fellow student

I must have missed this one. I could have sworn the players were booted off the team. I'm sure you can set me straight showing me where they were allowed to stick around.

So your examples have 5 Alabama football players, all of which were kicked off the football team.

Well done.

He didn't draw the line when he punched the WR's coach, did he? NO.....he gave him a second chance, one that Duke blew by getting in a fight with his own team mate.

He drew the line after Duke broke the jaw of one his other kids on the roster, knowing full well based on prior actions that Duke was capable of doing that.

Gus must have gone to the Obama school of line drawing.

I think the university forced Saban's hand on Taylor, as a matter of fact Nick was still defending his actions soon afterwards. The robber was welcomed back a year later, I have never seen that at a school. But we all know it is the compassion that drives Nick.

More bammer slant. Duke didn't punch Craig, he cussed him out. You must have been late to the REC Meeting that night, probably had to get your hood out of the cleaners.

At some point, most coaches get criticized for discipline , or lack there of for certain players behavior. I remember one game Vern going on and on about Jeremy Hill with a list of offenses. He failed to mention he sat out the TCU game. My point is let them deal with the perception and be glad it's not our team. Hope the kids learn from it for their sake and we'll play them full strength.
