Not a slant, neighbor is former short stop for the Tigers, so he's very well connected. Not only did he punch him, he sucker punched him. Kept quite which is why you guys heard the "cussin" story so Gus could save face for reinstating him.

Because he has already established track history with these type issues.
1. Allowing a player to return to the team after being convicted of robbing and attacking another student. How does he explain that to the student who was attacked. I assume he was still on campus a year later.
2. Allowing a player to join the team after being charged with choking his girlfriend. This would have been admirable by some peoples standards, if the case was already settled.
3. Now he has players who are involved with drugs and weapons and he is trying to explain why he would bring them back. Why were they in a parked car in a closed park at 230 in the morning ? Why were there two separate bags of dope and why have guns out. Sounds like a drug deal to me. But we all know it all comes down to the bottom line.
So I gave him the shadow of doubt with the murder issue, but who knows.

bullshite, I know someone who was there. He felt Duke should have been kicked off for cussing the Coach the way he did, but he never hit him. Gus allows heavy contributors to attend practice, so very little is "kept secret".

You believe your source, I'll believe mine........My buddy has no reason to tell me that, and besides, he's not the only Auburn alum that has repeated that to me.

If the weapons charge is reduced to a misdemeanor or dropped, I doubt he is even suspended a game. Saban was a little tougher when he first got to Bama, but he has been fairly forgiving in his later years. Not everyone can be that lenient and still maintain control of a program, but Saban has the clout to do that. Frankly unless the kid is a danger to the campus (it sounds like he is not), then it won't bother me if he does an offseason punishment and that be it.

I think one saw it in person, and the other read about it on a message board. Again, the Duke issue was well known with people who regularly attend practice. My connection had issues with him being on team after witnessing that event, but said it was Gus's Program to run. He openly said Duke was a thug, even before being dismissed. Ask you friend about that.

So you are saying that what you stated is "the answer?" Not surprising.
I never said that those were the answers, but they are just as or more possible than just assuming that they were "dealing drugs."

He told me Duke Williams wanted to go to LSU but pretty much had to leave the state of Louisiana to get away from guys that actually wanted him dead.......Yes I mean gang related stuff
