Let that sink in......

2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021.

71 players have been recognized as First Team All-American
4 Heisman trophy winners
106 players have been drafted into the NFL
39 first-round selections.
9 west titles, 8 SEC titles, 6 National Titles
Since 2008, Saban's teams have spent all or part of each season ranked No. 1 in national polls.
We will never see this duplicated!!!

It’s astonishing.

Is he the best coach, any sport, all time?

Only Wooden or Belichick seems to compare

There’s no way y’all get a great coach to replace him. You’d have to be an idiot to try to replace him at Bama.

I’d absolutely argue he’s the best ever regardless of the sport or level.

I think it’s harder to do what Belichick has done

Best of all time of any sport imo. Hope he wins it again this year and retires.

He was able to have the GOAT QB for nearly 2 decades. The equivalent of LSU having Burrow until like 2036 lol

You'd have to put Red Auerbach in that group, too, I'd think.

He gets young back next year.

No need to waste that.

The REC has helped him acquire all the talent he wanted…..

The A&M’s and Texas of the world at least making it cost more with NIL..

He is one of the best but haven’t there been some old school basketball coaches that have won 6 titles or close to it. To me it’s MUCH harder in college basketball to win a title. Yes it’s easier to make playoffs but you have so many playoff games to win.

Absolutely not. Saban is sort of a major outlier. It's almost a fluke, like "it shouldn't happen." Whoever replaces Saban will never come close to the amount of success that Saban has.

That's why, as a fan, I'm enjoying this ride for as long as possible. After Saban, Alabama can still be good, but not THIS good.

Edit: We'll get a great coach, but it damn sure won't be another Saban.
