Your logic wouldn’t make sense regardless. The university and the state are not the same entity. It’s just something easy for you to latch onto and cry about.

Gotta feeling Kiffin is toying with Bama.

BK the dummy who beat your coach this year. Kiffin who was the wisest of the wise seeing needs handled in the portal before anyone else embraced it.

Also don’t forget the oil spill a couple years ago in the gulf. I know a Mississippi lawyer who made bank.

OM's no different from any other school in the SE...the alumni are what makes the engine go...it's not the common fan that lives in MS.
If it was maybe it'd be different...but not that different...9 SEC states are in the bottom half of the per capita income for 2024. So, any schools not located in TX or FL...you're in the bottom half too.

Absolute clown world.
Poorest state spending the most on 18-22 old football players.
Poor state =/= everyone is poor
They have some filthy rich boosters and alumni. Rich kids go to Ole Miss. The disparity in wealth in the state is immense, but they have money at the top.

If Ryan Williams is legit on the market, a bushel of crackpot Mississippi lawyers are not going to outspend the Texas alums.

What an absolutely stupid take.
You don’t think there are rich people who live in states with lots of poverty? Lol
That’s like saying the Columbian Soccer team couldn’t be well funded, because Columbia is poor when Pablo Escobar funded the Columbian National Team.
Louisiana is a “poor” state, but when you have Todd Graves worth $9.5 billion and William Goldring worth $7 billion then things can get done if they donate.

The Bama melt would be epic, but I can't imagine this really has any chance of happening.

Not only is Ryan Williams solid at Alabama but word is that he flipped Mbakwe back to Alabama

Interesting. Didn't know Ryan Williams was another word for money.

Word is actually Bama caved to Mbakwe's demands.

Not even close to true. Ole Miss is absolutely filled with kids from all over the Southeast. There are more kids from Texas at Ole Miss than Tennessee.
