Mallett will challenge Clausen for the top QB to be drafted.

Sam Bradford will be the #3 QB.

When Mallett declares, LSU fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Mallet was horrible against every decent team Arky played. I'd rather have Clausen, whose game is much more polished

Ryan "i cant complete 50% of my passes on the road against good teams" Mallett

yea he could put up yards. he had speedy receivers who could get open and he would just throw deep balls so they would get a couple of em and he would get like 100 yards from 2 completions when it took like 10 attempts

less than 50% vs BAMA, UF, Ole Miss, LSU.

he will still be a top10 draft pick though.

for the record, i like Clausen most.

Clausen would be the best QB in the draft even if Locker had entered.

i have no facts to back this up, but Clausen will set some franchise back 4 years, imo..

Maybe.

But I'd say the odds of him doing so are much less than Mallet/McCoy/Bradford/Tebow.

This. Why would he go pro when he has yet to finish 1 full college football season?

Mallett: Large slow inaccurate QB
NFL: No thanks, we don't need another J. Russell

And the scary part was Russell, unlike Mallet, was pretty darn accurate as a college football player despite what the rantards would say.

I'm just not sold on the guy, although the potential is there. I'm just not sold that it will ever be put together in the NFL for him.

I agree. Everybody who follows the game knows a big difference between college and pro is accuracy has to be much "tighter". Not only hit the receiver, but put it where the receiver can make the catch, but out of reach of the DB. How many Practice All Pros have we seen fail on Sunday? Also, the worst DB on Sunday is better than the best Saturday DB.

As much as I don't like Clausen the Douche, he does have a strong accurate arm. JMO, Mallett needs at least one more year to work on his reads and accuracy. But, there's always a desperate team ready to throw money away.....

NO HE WON'T . The scouts see all the stats that have been in this thread. Late 1st round at best.

Locker isn't ready. He needs another year, or he would be on the bench forever. His passing game still needs work.
