I don't think Clausen will be much in the NFL.What good defense did he face all year? I'm more impressed with Mallett than Clausen as of today.

Did Bret Favre face awesome defenses at USM??
Did Ben Roethlisberger face more good defenses when he was at Miami OH???
Did Flacco face better defenses than Clausen when he was at Delaware???
He may not have played against SEC defenses every week, but at the same time, he did what he was supposed to do against not as talented defenses, passed all over them.

Well Mallett did just take out a 10 million dollar policy. Now I don't know if that was just for the bowl game = going pro or for next season = not going. In regard to the Mallett vs. Clausen debate. Ryan has one thing going for him Clausen doesn't. He can take a seven step drop on the right (or left) hash and throw the 18 yard out to the sideline on the other side of the field and it don't take the ball long to get there.
Right now his only drawbacks are footwork and maturity. I think he will be back for one more year and then be the first QB taken in the 2011 draft.
