re: Whistler Village Lodging Questions

Posted by usc6158 on 8/13/26 at 11:17 am to
Have stayed in both during the summer. The Upper Village is totally walkable from the main village center. Probably 10-15 mins, but a nice hill at the end to get back up to Blackcomb.

I'd prefer staying in the Main Village given the option, but if the price is better in Upper Village, it's totally manageable.
This is 100% Jayden Daniels' mom

Some schools retire jerseys, others don't. It's not really a big deal one way or the other if someone doesn't lose all sense of reality like in this case.

Really? I had no idea. They have a massive campus here, are the main sponsor of the Red Wings, and seem to in some kind of war with Dan Gilbert to rule the area.

They bet big on interest rates falling and just had to take a bailout from a distress asset lender

The deal is with BC Partners' credit fund rather than their PE arm, so it may be structured debt and not equity.

The only reason for Congress to have any involvement in college sports is because the courts have clearly said the NCAA can't enforce rules around NIL and eligibility.

Outside of that, there is nothing Congress needs to be creating new regulation around.
You can play Bandon in the winter for $180 a round a $90 replay with juniors playing for free in the spring. As good a deal as you will find in the US.

I also love that they open the old par 3 course to locals to play for free. I got in early before the rest of our group and played with old par 3 with a bunch of guys that were just out after work and had a blast.

They used to host a high school tournament that our team played in that was one day at Bandon, one at Pacific, free for Oregon high schools but not sure if they still do that.
The Keiser family runs a first class operation.

They just finished the first course at Rodeo Dunes outside Denver as well. The model at all of these places is largely the same, using Bandon as the model even down to having Tom Doak, Coore and Crenshaw, and David McClay Kidd do all their courses.

I was lucky enough to go to Bandon last September and everything is first rate. Even food prices are very reasonable, which they could jack through the roof because they have you trapped there.

Butterbean making it to 60 has to be an all time upset. Up there with Keith Richards still kicking at 82.

Hopefully his body can hold up on the amount of torque he creates. His mobility is insane.
