WTH? They gave him freedom to hire/fire his staff and he literally ran off a legacy QB (Bo Nix) from his lifetime school - they also paid him +$15mm to leave. quote: the off the field land mines the Auburn boosters & weak a$$ administration has built in the lat decade. What landmines? Auburn gave Freeze a new football facility, an open wallet for NIL, and they've allowed him to hire/fire staff as he sees fit. Hell, Auburn's Administration has backed Freeze from day one and the goober still can't get shite straight with all that expensive talent. Freeze is in over his head, he has to go, but Eli ain't the guy for Auburn - he'd never fit in.
There isn’t an Auburn fan on the board who could have said this better. Every once in a while I remember that there are people who post here that don’t always troll.

They are already that. Florida is the school that is teetering on the edge of that. They are one more bad hire away IMHO.
Nope ...too much instate talent. Florida can rebuild quickly.

That being said.....I hope they have another bad hire

According to the Rainmakers, "Everybody's Drinking on the Job".
You probably need to be 50+ or have parents who are (my youngest daughter at 26 would catch it right away)

NIL Collective Rankings
10. Every True Tiger (Missouri)
Missouri and Every True Tiger have set the standard for how NIL collectives will operate in the post-House settlement world. Most donor-funded collectives have opted to raise the majority of their dollars from boosters, but thanks to Missouri’s state law, Every True Tiger has been able to think outside the box.

The great thing about "Every True Tiger" is its become a NIL war chest because direct corporate deals from St. Louis and KC keep the collective from using its money. Basketball is killing it.

Yeah, but he's done ticked off all of the OU fan base & Bob Stoops ....I'm not expecting them to call Columbia anytime soon

Everyone on this board knew that was a sham ranking . The AP poll is becoming a joke.

That’s the most concise and eloquent synopsis of Auburn’s situation I have seen …anywhere! ..and from a Bama fan!

What ties does he have to AU and why would he want to go there when he is the only game in town in the State of Mizz. At Au he would always be the red headed step child to bama. And I dont care how many natty's AU wants to claim going back to the 1801 season.

Would be a smart move, he could win a national championship at Auburn.

Who wouldn't want to work for three years and take a multi-million dollar ticket to retirement when they fire him???

Dang, you really believe that? It’s about the trophies and Mizzou has won one that matters since 1969 and even that was a co-conference title

You are a dumb arse! In this era any program can win a natty. Indiana is top 3 in the country. You realize the days of cheating arse blue-bloods is over right? This is a different era. That Missouri poop-water is killing your brain cells.

Once again, you idiots keep acting like it is the 80s-90s. It is 2025. OU is a mess, Bama is good, not great, Indiana is #3 etc. Now that ANY program can pay players (not just cheating arse "blue-bloods" expect parody, expect the unexpected & expect whomever pays for the RIGHT players to win a natty. The playing field will even out over time.
