They should include “Fifth Year+” Chambliss in the suit.

My prediction is, LSU never actually plays the players in question because they are not that important to the teams success and not worth the risk of ruining a promising season.

Yeah Kiffin is doing all this bullshite to not play them

He’s definitely first in line for the Kiffin Cuck chair experience.

Does it include having the right to pick and choose which court decisions to follow regarding players who are repeatedly deemed ineligible by the NCAA?

Not that your tiny little brain can understand it, but the SEC has never allowed ex NFL players to play in their conference. It has nothing to do with eligibility. The SEC doesnt have to allow every eligible player to play in the conference. Its not arbitrary at all. They havent banned all players that got a court injunction to play...only former NFL players who got an injuction. When I say they(I know this is a hard concept for you), LSU is included.

The SEC requires its members to comply with all NCAA rules.

The SEC is saying “no pro players” that’s it. Not “no players who the NCAA has ruled ineligible”

That's literally an SEC bylaw

Kiffin is 100% trolling. He will not play these players. All these LSU posters that are all in on the bravado right now will heel turn instantly and admit that he was trolling all along...and claim victory

But they do allow professional NBA G league basketball players to play in their conference. That is a fact.

Why not have the same rules for all sports?

I discussed this at some length in a thread “How come the injunctions made on behalf of Bediako & Trinidad are honored”

If you want help figuring it out, start there.

There is a carveout for court injunctions

quote:

2026–27 NCAA Division I Manual, Bylaw 12.9.4.2, “Restitution.

Also it must be stated for the 2000th time...the court injunction can declare that a player get an extra year of eligibility. It doesnt necessarily compel the SEC to allow that player to play. The SEC DID accept Chambliss to play because medical extensions are seen as valid to the SEC.

Chambliss nor Ole Miss is not in violation of SEC bylaws.

This court could grant eligibility to these players on Thur. The SEC can still prohibit them from playing in the SEC. This wouldnt be arbitrarily, but instead based off a rule that was passed with yes votes from every member school...including LSU

This court could issue other injunctions that compel conferences to take them...and those conferences CAN appeal this ruling and/or sue in a federal court

I know facts really hurt the feelings of many(not all) LSU fans on this site. They apparently think if you stick your chest out and scream loud enough, the 15 other schools will just back down. Good luck with that
