Are we gonna get a thread every time this comes on?

Auburn and Alabama would both be better off if we just moved on past this shite

In your world updyke is because u want it that way. To the rest of the college football world outside of a few SEC towns updyke is a non issue. We pay him no attention. This helps u feel better about yourself and being a fan of the 2nd school in alabama. I'd probably do the same but luckily I didn't barn. Carry on because this helps your inferiority complex and that's healthy.

Don't care much for AU and Bama, but I like that show. Pretty cool to see the hate between programs. Well made if you ask me.

I've never met an Alabama or AU fan who liked it. It hardly talked about the games or traditions at all. Just a bunch of stupid shite about rednecks on each side.

I'll agree. Most people I know thought it wasn't good.

I cringe at the pianists face making in that documentary.

I'd like to see a documentary on USC-Clemson.

It was a pretty bitch move. I'm not a fan of either program, but I do respect the uniqueness of the rolling of the trees tradition. For example, I hate Ole Miss and I think their tailgating tradition is vastly overrated, but I'd be bummed if a nut job Mississippi State fan poisoned the entire Ole Miss grove.

That kick six has to be the best moment in the history of college football. I can't think of another play as memorable as that one.

Stop.

This will become yet another thread where both sides post pics up and pretend like they're not cut from the same cloth.

I agree. The country was growing apathetic in Alabama's dominance and it was nice to see some fresh faces in the NC. Too bad for AU they couldn't play defense for 55 or so seconds.

Very true. The only school that has any difference in their fan bases, is Vanderbilt and Florida. Vandy being Vandy, sand Florida having a heavily Jersey Shore influence combined with their rednecks

Considering "Updyke" is the AU rally cry, and barely a blip on the Alabama radar?

He's clearly Auburn's hero. He gave them justification for the victim mentality that is cultivated by the fan base.

One thing that both fan bases typically agree on is that special was awful. Don't get an outsider, who knows nothing about the rivalry, to do the special.
