Indiana/Kentucky Border team, big 10 team, and an easy win.

Your user name gives you away. You need to worry about renewing the Coog High-Texas Southern ghetto series.

And this is the crap I have to deal with from fellow Ags that, in my opinion, are missing the big picture. Football games are about fun. The tu game was fun. We are in a great place with the SEC. It was the best possible move. Let's bring it back.

I know there's a few older posters than I on here- I think sarge is- and not even all older Ags agree with me. Still, I grew up with that game and I miss it.

I'm actually not sure where you got Coog and TSU. Notice it's Coug.

I grew up with it too.
But I don't miss it.
It wasn't a good-spirited rivalry; it was bitter and hateful--I rarely enjoyed the games (win or lose).
When I see other rivals on this board interact, I realize how much bad blood there was/is between the Ags and horns.

The sad thing is that I think both administrations are going to buckle because of (you guessed it) $$$ on the table.

That's what aggy chancellor said when he stated he wanted to "put it (the series) back together."

IMO that's what made the SWC so glorious. It was one giant arse ball of sports hate.

UGA for sure. We're an hour from each other's campus, we are always in recruiting battles with them, and the SEC team we play every year is irrelevant

Not that it's much of a rivalry, but Tulane-LSU should be resumed at some point. If you grew up in the 80's in the state of Louisiana, you have a true appreciation for what that game meant.

And LSU fans can't possibly enjoy playing the likes of Chattanooga or Troy instead of Tulane.

Bama/Penn St need to go back to playing every year, like they did in the 80s.

The hate amongst the other SWC members was different.
UH and Texas A&M could beat up on each other on the field, yet still enjoy each other's company the rest of the year.
Same goes for Arkansas, SMU, TCU, Tech, etc.
A mutual respect underpinned the games.

The Ags and sips are different.
In the back of each other's minds (or even in the front), there's mistrust, judgment, and revulsion--football and/or otherwise.
I don't care to interact with their fans ever again.

If anyone from LSU that doesn't say Tulane, the. They don't know crap. And it was a rivalry to the point that fights have stopped games and ended them.

Tulane is and will always be the only true hated rival of LSU. PERIOD!

Auburn, but they are gonna need to win more than a couple each decade for it to feel like a rivalry again

Notre Dame - there are lots of Catholics in La
and we have played 11 games give or take in a competitive series.

I would rotate Tulane/ ULL/ La Tech/ ULM all @ LSU for the home opener. Playing Tulane every year does nothing for fan interest. Every four years though is good enough.

Homecoming should be a service academy OR a Louisiana bantam weight.
