Sad news. Joe and I were GA's at MSU at the same time. He was a really good guy to have around.

72, while not old by today’s standards, is still getting on up there, especially if you don’t take the best care of yourself. Not saying that about him bait in general. But I think there was a poster above who noted he had been ill for a couple of years.

Yep attended Dixie Camp several years

Got dunked on by Todd Kitchen, amazing athlete

My one memory of him is yelling at this 5 year old son like a maniac at the camp, felt bad for him. Maybe just a bad day for pops.

Born in '83, so I don't have memories of him being on staff here, but absolutely loved him on the call on JP games.

He coined the phrase "String Music" and is also known for other phrases such as, "Stufferino in Lexington, KY", "tickling the twine" and "string music in Music City"
