Very happy for this, but also sad because it probably means no chance on Micah coming back.

It's going to be a nightmare if they put him and Speights on the court together.

After 18 seasons, I will be returning to Florida with two years left to play. Man, after having a great conversation with @CoachToddGolden, I’m excited to be back and have the opportunity to play again for the Florida Gators. After a long NBA career, with the new rules in place, I’ll be back on the court for the next two years.

Go Gators!

Good move for him. No way he was ready for the NBA. He would have ended up like Joey Dorsey.

Yep, but he went through the process like you are supposed to do and came back to school before the deadline passed for withdrawing your name from the NBA draft.

For some reason people don't think that matters anymore.

Can we have Joakim Noah come back for one more year? That would be must-see TV

Season will be deemed a failure if they don't win the 2027 NC. Nobody else has anywhere near the size and talent that UF has stacked up for next year.

Tennessee has assembled insane talent, but the size of Florida is daunting

Nor does any team have the retention that Florida has. Florida has an unlimited payroll. I'm surprised Momcilovic isn't going there. Anything with >2 losses and not winning a Natty would be a failure. I think Johnny Jones could take them to a FF.

Maybe I wasn't so crazy

Yeah, Micah is a great teammate but Chin is a force on the court.

Noah was a player you loved if he played for your favorite team, but you absolutely HATED if he did not. Those 04's were some of the most fun teams to watch. When I saw Horford/Brewer/Noah as freshmen, I predicted that Florida could compete for a FF in 2006, and win a Natty in 2007. Those teams were just so balanced.

Yeah, but other teams improve. They don't just stay the same every year. Also I am not sure we aren't still just a mediocre shooting team.

But teams do not retain four starters, including their three best players, either. And there's still time to get a guard that can shoot, and you can get them on the cheap. Duke and Michigan both lost their best player(s). I would expect Florida to have three or fewer losses all year.

If Aberdeen gets his waiver roster is full. We are counting on leaps from Brown, Loyd, and Ingram to improve the guard play. I don’t think A.J is athletic enough to play, Klav is what he is great 3rd guard that can shoot and ball handle.

I am very surprised how much we were able to keep. It is crazy honestly. Damn good work by all involved

Chin is bigger, for sure. But they are similar players. Dorsey was a in the paint, physical enforcer for Memphis. Neither have much of a game away from the rim. Chin has way more upside.
