Just curious, what's the last west coast team that Kentucky beat? I can't seem to recall

The SEC defenses are going to eat up him under throwing his receivers. Oregon’s defense just wasn’t very good. Way too early to tell what he’s going to do this year.

Yall need to stop talking like he made some big play. He through an ill advised pass and his experienced WR made an outstanding catch.

Finebaum is generally clueless about the game.
That said, when Nix has a good game against woeful Tulane, you guys will be all about statistics.
Speaking of Tulane, their qb's rating is #12. Nix at #61 in the nation. Congratulations.

13-31 is playing like trash.
Granted he did lead them to victory on that last dive but overall he was pretty mediocre

I remember this gif after 4th and 25.

Oregon’s defense is underrated. There is plenty of talent on that team.

Oregon's secondary is pretty good though. Easily better than a lot of SEC teams. The first pick was to a 3rd year starter who will be playing on Sundays. Second pick I'd exactly what you said, he under threw a receiver and Jevon Holloman (who had 5 picks as a true FR, is considered one of the top NFL prospects at his position in his class, and would be an elite safety even in the SEC) took advantage. I'm sure Nix is capable of learning from his mistakes

Thanks. Nice to have a quality win over a quality non-conference opponent. Not that you’d know.

How was it an I'll advised pass? The WR made a play, but Bo trusted him to make the play and he did. There was no way the DB was getting to that ball, Seth Williams had the position and if he couldn't get the ball then he was going to block the DB from getting it and Bo trusted him to do that. It was a veteran throw.
The only people with your take are clueless fans of rival teams. Every single expert and former QB I've seen chime in had said it was a great play by Nix and praised his humongous balls to make it. But I guess they don't know compared to some fat fat frick ringing a cowbell from the couch in his MS Delta trailer
quote:
Bo: "It was a specific play. I had him and Eli out there and I chose to go to the field. They spun the coverage and they left Seth kinda open. The safety had his back to me, so I gave him a chance. I knew he was gonna catch the ball."
Sure sounds like he knew exactly what he was doing to me

Did crowds rush to TP Nix’s dick?
I bet they did. But they made sure the game was over first.

They tried but they couldn't scale his massive balls to get there.
Even if they could, it wouldn't be possible. They don't make rolls of TP big enough to wrap all the way around

Good team win, but Bo Nix played like trash most of the night. He gets happy feet with any pressure. Putting it nicely... he has room for improvement.

What are you 12? Lawrence didn’t have a great game, but he played much better than Nix. Lawrence also played 2 1/2 quarters and the play calling was poor for Clemson.

So that's an excuse for Lawrence but not Nix? Have you even heard of Gus Malzahn?

He grew up big time in the last minute of the game. The first 3 qtrs were not good, but i'll give Oregon D a lot of credit. Never seen a Pac D play that fierce.
Nix will only get better, yes they will beat the Gaytors and Bama, but will lose to aTm and lsu

This conversation around Nix reminds me of the conversation that plagued Fromm's 2017 season.
QB's either have "IT" or they don't...I could tell Fromm had "IT" early on, just like Cam, Nick, AJ, etc...IMO Bo shows he has "IT".
Now will there be growing pains? Of course, he doesn't have the OL of Fromm to give him clean decision making pockets, nor RB's that can house it in one play. However, he does have a long history of being a gun slinger who finds a way and nothing about his first college game suggest that inherit quality left him.
Auburn actually moved the ball on Oregon pretty well even though they had little to show for it in the 1st half. Auburn had 4 1st half drives of 50 yards or more, but that success was offset by a missed FG, 2 INT (1 red zone), plus the fumble that killed the drive that started on the 2 yard line. Considering all that Bo was making mistakes, but also doing some things really well.
