No offense, but this looks kinda awful… For example, I was counting on never having to play Texas Tech again during a choking dust storm out in God forsaken Lubbock during this lifetime …

Texas fans are also talking about kicking Vandy out of the SEC. Texas hasn't even been in the SEC for a full year and they're already talking about kicking out a founding member of the conference.
This is the attitude and energy Texas brings. A well-run conference competes on the field, but cooperates off of it. Texas is different. They'd stab anyone in the back for as little as an extra nickel.

I find it difficult to believe these other teams would want to share a conference with texas due to their history of threatening to leave if they don’t get their way. We left the swc because of the possibility of them leaving and taking aggie with them leaving us in a dead conference.
The SEC is the most secure place to land and a team like texas can either toe the line or get the hell out and no one would care.
