I believe that Bryan Harsin will be retained as the Auburn head football coach. Alignment will be critical moving forward. Adjustments from all sides will be necessary.

So, did he or didn't he put a side action on the payroll? If she is clean in all this, the subsequent litigation will be quite a sideshow until they pay her off.

This shite is hilarious. Just a total self-destruction. Thank you, Auburn for always being so Auburn.

So, there’s no evidence that the assistant was involved in anything and her life may be potentially ruined by a bunch of lecherous pervs on sports message boards posting her photo on threads, openly fantasizing about her, and spouting off rumors regarding her supposed unprofessional behavior?

But you are clueless anyway. That long assed coaching candidates list didn’t even have Harsin’s name on it. As would be insiders go you’re one of the worst

I do not know how many times I have to repeat it for you dumbasses. The list was put out by the BOTs on the Monday after Gus was fired. Harsin wasn't even on their radar and wouldn't have been. Gogue stepped in and took the search away from the PTB and gave it solely to Greene, who in turn hired Harsin a week later. Does that make it clear for you this time you frick head.

Nothing on her was uncovered. It was secondary to the issues for why he would have been fired. Players claiming abusive behavior and coaches who were mistreated was the big issue. My guess is they found out that was just butthurt rumors. The Administration could have addressed this early and put an end to it. Greene should have been on top of it from Day 1.

This wasn't a booster generated coup. If it was it would have been a done deal? This started with disgruntled ex-players, coaches and AD Staff members and it took off in the press. The booster wanted answers and the University provide their findings. It wasn't about money or power. If anyone is to blame it is the outgoing President and how he reacted to the rumors.

LOLZ at this guy carrying the water for Harbert, Rane, and Lanier.

That's what makes this even funnier to me. Like y'all have a really great thing going, you are national darlings in basketball, gameday coming in. And the admin does the exact shite that will distract everyone from all that and remind people it's actually a shitshow. Can't make it up.

Less than two years away from another self-destructive move by the barn. This one will hardly be in the rear view mirror before TPTB are at it again.

Harsin needs to be at the game Saturday and the gym/Pearl/etc show lots of support on National tv. There is no good play book to deal with this self inflicted PR wound, but they better pull out all the stops to give him a chance.

Need to get Barkley in on it

Maybe even a Jimmy Rane dunking both at halftime

Harsin will not survive this. AU just kick the can down the road until the end of next season.

That would be a good start, but honestly I don't see him changing the way he operates. And he doesn't seem to be a guy that will change.

As repayment, Harsin should hire Jimmy Sexton (if he hasn’t already), who should start courting suitors, and then enter into contract renegotiations in the middle of summer.
